I don't know what country you are in, but in most countries your child is already totally safe. If a transfusion is refused by the mother, you can sign instead and that's all there is to it. If your wife refused and you were not around, a court would over ride the mother. When it comes to small children your wife has no power to stop a transfusion.
As for your wife, she has the right to make her own decisions. She is not undermining your authority - you do not have any authority over another adult's body. Your wife is not your property.
You can demand that they no longer call at your house but that accomplishes nothing. They will tell your wife it is persecution because Satan does not want her to know the truth. She may meet them at their house instead. Don't blame your wife for this, the brainwashing has already begun.
If you love your wife, consider this to be like a mental problem. Your son is not endangered by it at the moment, so no need to talk about separation and custody battles as long as you love her and want to stay married. Rather, use kindness as if you were a doctor or nurse with a patient.
Learn about JWs - learn how to challenge and destroy their doctrines with sound reasoning and drop 'seeds' whenever you can that may get her thinking. It's normally a slow process to destroy the mind control, but it can be done.

What proof is there that Jesus chose the Bible Students in 1919?
by VM44 inwhat proof is there that jesus inspected all the religions or the earth in 1919 and then chose the bible students?.
just because the watchtower says in its literature that they were chosen is not proof!.

Unfortunately the reason Rutherford came up with 1919 was not because of some divine prophesy - it was for a much more down to earth reason.
Rutherford had taken over the organization Russell had began. Many considered Russell as the faithful slave and many split off and continued as Bible Students in order to continue to follow Russell's teachings. Rutherford needed to establish that he was the one everyone now needed to follow. So, he came up with a new direction for the organization (including lots of BS about prophets returning from the dead in 1926) and it was decided that Jesus did not even choose his people until AFTER Russell had died....
There was nothing spiritual about it, it was just part of the political power struggle within the organization at that time.

It certainly is about give and take. They give you a Watchtower, and you give them money.
Or, they will give you false hopes for a better life in the future. In return they will take your obedience, money and anything else they can now. It's how religion works.

you may recall that sometime ago i posted an information about it.. jacques lejeunes case, ex jw, who had won an appeal against the adverse second level judgment, will be heard for the last time in front of the mons court on october 18th.. this case is emblematic as it is the first time that the violation of human right against the wt will be heard.. jacques is determined to go to the european court of human rights if this last case will end up in favor of the wt.. whoever wants to join me in attending the trial in support of jacques is welcome.. believe that jacques deserves this support.. the case will be heard on october 18th at 2 p.m. and is planned to last 4 hours.
both jacques and the wt have already presented their memorandum which is available online on my website, but in french only.

KINGDOM HALL IN SHANNON NEW ZEALAND LIES TIDY BUT EMPTY?!!
by steve2 inthere's a kingdom hall in shannon, a small rural town in manawatu, new zealand, 16 kms from the nearest town, foxton, and about 30 kms from palmerston north city (population around 80,000).
jws used to go on about how fast they were growing in new zealand that even a small town like shannon (population little more than 1,000) has its very own kingdom hall.
in the late 70s, the local jws worked hard to build a brand new kingdom hall and i was among the happy throngs when it was dedicated.

Yes, probably some pioneer who prefers gardening to knocking doors. They can count the time weeding if it's at the KH. They probably knock a not at home in Foxton first and also when they go home. That way they can count all the travelling time too. :)

The irony of that limiting directive is that Adam and Eve were supposedly unaware of the difference between right and wrong at the time.
It's like telling a baby not to put their thumb in their mouth, but all the fingers are ok. How kind of God to allow a baby to use any and all its fingers. And if that baby disobeyed and used its thumb because a stuffed toy spoke to it and said it was okay really, well then it deserved to die. Sick!

My public talk on sunday
by mankkeli ini am currently preparing for the public talk on sunday and as i was looking through the outline some these thoughts just keep popping up my mind that in the face of several allegations and numerous scandal, wbts has not stopped claiming to be god's organisation, i am wondering if they will ever realise that their strategies are no longer appealing to the general public.
regrettably, they keep on publishing and printing using victims of mind control hazards to the detriment of over 7 million rank and file members and spiritual illiterates in the society.
i keep on pondering on how long this malicious activity would continue.

@mankkeli I don't believe a word of what you have posted, but at least you got the conversation going. I always wonder why someone would get on a platform to represent the Org when the clearly do not believe a word. Giving talks are optional so I see no justification for it at all, sorry to those of you who do it.
