  Genesis 10 - How many can you count up who built the Tower of Babel from these names??

  i am sitting looking at genesis 10.. this relates to the thread that the "tower of babel built by babies".. i reckon by counting the sons, and then counting at least one wife to carry the next generation of named sons we can arrive at a fairly accurate head count.. chapter 11 is also useful here as it gives the age of certain men when they had named sons.. for example seth was 100 when he fathered apaxad.

  in the next 500 years he could not have fathered a total of 500 children, so we need a reasonable estimate.. some of the breed ing stock was 35 before producing a son (11:12).

  bear in mind also that the shemite line had fertility issues so were not as profuse as other lines through ham or japheth.. i fail to get a total of much over 300 people and that is being generous.

  True.. I mean they still have at least 3 pretty awesome players, but they are not the complete package they were last year.. are they enough to bounce the Presidents Trophy winners? I think not, but funny things happen in the playoffs..

  The sheer amounts of verbal diarrhea (literally) and the make-up of it that he spews makes me believe it could be so. Maybe someone can sweet talk Simon into seeing what IP a certain someone's account is connecting from. A traceroute to that IP would show at least the geographic area where it is located..

  The Canucks and Blackhawks matchup is all mental. I'm not completely discounting Chicago, but I think the Canucks have it together this year. If Chicago hadn't bounced them the past 2 years and counting, the series would be over in 4-5 games tops. But, seeing as how the Blackhawks are probably in the 'Nucks head, the series might go 6 or even 7..

  You should know that whatifsports.com has simulated the Cup, and Boston comes out over Vancouver in the end. But I still agree with you, Vancouver FTW!

  james olsen and richaed wheellock both bethelites.. rich templet.

  rich and james out of guilt, richard out of depression.. james and rich were both under 30 years old.. after richard wheelock (a bethel heavy) killed himself the society changed it's stand on whether suicides could be resurrectioned or not..

  the april 2011 pioneer action of 30 hours is a kind of 'separate the wheat from the chaff'.. think about it: 40 percent of our congregation is pioneering.

  the other half of the congregation has something to explain.... i don't report hours for years.

  although i'm not "too sensitive" it feels like "standing fully outside the group".
