  How do you shut your mind down so you can get a good night sleep???

  the more i learn about jw's the harder it is.

  to sleep at night.

  the wife hit the pillow and within 5 min.. she is snoring.

  Get out of bed. Lay on the floor with your legs parallel to the wall. Stretch your arms out from your chest. Breath deep in and out. Works like a charm.

  No more 3-day DCs starting in 2013?

  apologies if there is another recent thread on this, but i have heard from 4 different people in 3 different geographic areas (including someone who does advance work for the dcs), that beginning in 2013 the three day dc program will be replaced by a second two-day circuit assembly.

  some people were passing the info along like a secret, others seemed to think that everyone already knew.. if everyone in j-dub land is already talking about this, how is it not all over this forum??.

  anyway, can anyone confirm or deny?.

  Femine supplies advice help needed

  i'm divorced and i have a daughter who is nearly 11. last year she watched a video in school covering upcoming body changes (which she already knew about).

  but one suggestion they gave that i didn't think of was to go get femine supplies and be prepared for when the time comes.

  i like being prepared ahead of time for emergencies.

  i've only ever heard of cedar point in watchtower publications and talks, don't know what it's like.

  i reckon cedars stole his screen name from that.

  what about a world shaking apostafest in cedar points, maybe jesus joins in with some new discriminating light.

  Really, it was the inability to come to the answer of a question on your own. The prison of pre-answered questions was what did it for me. There was really no point in thinking anymore, when everything has already been decided for you. For some people, that's comforting.

  it hurts like hell to listen to my 17 yo girl, crying, saying she misses our real relationship.

  that she gets depressed every time we talk about spiritual things.

  and i really do the utmost to leave it out of our conversations.

  17 years old? that's pretty tough.. you're pretty much bang on.. they see the world in black and white.. it's only when you turn 25 or 30 when that changes...
