  These last few weeks.

  i haven't posted more than a reply or two to various topics these last few weeks.

  i haven't seen any evidence of my mom (mulan) in as long.. i have started to post the whole story but it is too long and probably unbelievable.

  anyway, here is the short version.. 89 year old grandma fell and broke a vertabrae.

  Hey Princess,
  Sorry to hear about all the hassles you have with JW family.
  I'm in the same boat at times and it seems to get worse now and then.
  My mother is JW and her mother as well.
  They are both manipulative and I have been victim of their schemes in the past.
  When I was Dfd I missed my family so much, but accepted the medicine and made the most of the time I had with my Dad.
  Now, my sisters and brother have moved to Australia and there is no one for them to meddle with.
  They have kept at arms length for many years and now I grace them with my presence as the need arises.
  I feel for you as it is very frustrationg when they make demands on you that you have not committed, they take you for granted and expect you to fall in line with their wants and needs.
  Mum is very much like that and although we love her dearly, she has her strange and funny ways.
  My partner wondered if it was a trait in my family or if all JWs are like that.
  I guess in my case it's a bit of both.

  regarding stone...

  i am reading a series of books that are set for the most part in scotland.

  there are references in it to body weight measured in stone.

  can someone tell me the pound equivalent of stone?.

  i been out of the org a full 20 years.. what progress have i made?.

  well, im not angry anymore at the org.i dont even hate the gb.

  i learnt a lot from reading all those old watchtowers about mind control.

  I look back and see the youth that was taken from me.
  Yeah, the higher education, I wanted to go to Uni and get a degree and have a profession, have a big home, latest car, boat, whistles and bells.
  I don't have any of that, but my life is so much better than before.
  Yep as you say Xander, we have freedom to pick and choose things we were deprived of before.
  I've got a family now, something I never wanted in this system, and then didn't want when I was Dfd.
  But they have helped me get over my issues with the borg, and focus on caring for them.
  I still have some borg mentality when it comes to material things, but there are other things money can't buy that I have and would never want to lose.

  Funny bowling day....

  monday i go bowling with my df'd brother.

  i wasn't doing too good today and in the third game i had two open frames to start the game.

  i said it is time i got a strike, in fact it is time and a half times as in daniel.

  Ken,
  It is good to have fun with family and to use what we knew in the past as part of the fun.
  My sister and I enjoy coming up with some of the nonsense we were taught in jest during a conversation.
  We have 2 other members of our family still attached to the borg although not active and can also jest with.
  Andi,
  I know how you feel. I was without my brother and sisters for a few years and I knew they were out and doing things and I wasn't a part of that, it hurt, but I can be thankful that over this time they have seen the light and either left or walked away for a while.

  she weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

  the last day of the wtbts, that is.. it may take a quarter century (i predict 2027), but the last day of the wtbts is going to come sooner or later.

  I would get my band of merry men, 3 ex-dubs to date, set up our gear by the Branch on the back of a flatdeck truck, start pumping some real heavy metal shit out, screaming like AC/DC some songs like Hell aint a bad place to be, Highway to hell etc...

  i've been invited to go to a study group again, by a sister who i work with, she said she would like to explain some doctrines to me that i might had misunderstood, and would like to get together and talk.

  she also gave me 5 magazines--told me, of the great articles, that i should read.

  Ah hello, sometimes that will not cut the mustard.
  I was a pioneering elder and it was common to try and help a weakling in the cong.
  You go and see them, offer encouragement, get shot down in flames.
  Next week you are working with another person, discuss this situation with them, devise perhaps another tactic, go and see the weakling, try the new line, get shot down.
  Out in service again, with another person, go thru the same motions.
  Talk with the CO, get some pointers, have another crack.
  Pass the assignment onto another pioneer, check with them how progress is going, discuss it with other elders, work on more strategies.
  No way, forget the courtesies, straight to the point then its over

  i am quite confident i deserve it, i am a nice guy to woman, and to other living things, fact is i let women walk all over me because i am so long suffering.. can anyone else show why he or she should be of the remnant class?.
