This is a situation re. a sister who is trying to leave an abusive relationship of 8 years. This sister accepted assistance from a worldly friend who has provided a home, and paid off her credit cards that her abusive husband racked-up. She is being harrassed for dating an unbeliever, and not being free to remarry. This friend is just a landlord over the property that she is renting. It is all so sickening

Get 'deleted' or resign as a ministerial servant?
by trevorbv ini'm a ministerial servant for some years now, but reached to the conclusion that i must get out of jws as soon as possible.
i can no longer waste my time in field service, at the kh or doing menial jobs for the congregation.
for some months now my field report is with one digit at the hours section and with empty spaces in magazines, brochures and the others.

Not sure of all your circumstances. Sometimes moving out of your cong's territory, may work out. When you move the cong elders have to decide if you will receive a letter of recommendation.
When they approach you on the matter, let them know that you have too much to manage at the moment, and would appreciate a break from extra responsibilities.

" i thought paul specifically warned against appointing a "newly converted man"?

I was appointed an MS when I was 20 yrs old. That was in the 70's. But, really the qualifications, and the one year is requirement is not the ultimate qualification.
The hidden qualification is the exceeding 10 hrs per month service time. That's the true measuring stick.
