Recently, in our community, a well known Child molester died of old age complications. His victims were JW's who have had to bear those horrible memories. They are strong, and very faithful as to JW standards. But, they showed no respect for the man that caused them so much grief. He never was a JW. His children did become so.
Isn't it hard to accept that such will come back in the New System in the resurrection, but those who were DF'd will die at armaggedon?

by ADJUSTMENTS inbetween two congregations that i know of four elders have stepped down in the last two months!
there is something really going on in this mandmade organization!
it's busting at the seams!.

The members put two and two togeather when they see this brother freely commenting at meetings, or, when he is invited to offer prayer on behalf of the congregation. Then the assumption that there was no wrongdoing is satisfied.

My granny died.
by LouBelle inlast week friday i was delayed in going to work, for which i am glad.
it was an opportunity for me to help my gran one last time.
she thanked me, told me she loved me and that i would be very blessed.

there is something really going on in this mandmade organization!

When they announced my deletion, they just said. brother xxxx is no longer serving as an Elder.
My family stood by me, and I really appreciated their support. I couldn't even talk about the reason. That it was because some of my family members were not doing over 10 hrs a month in FS.
I kept my dignity, because the position wasn't that important to me. I do know of certain ones that would be devastated if this happened to them.

does anyone know, if an elder had deleted himself, and several years later wants to resume involvement, is there now an accelerated method for re-appointment?
does only the boe appoint or is the co concurrance and service dep't appointment still needed?

I remember at an Elders school over 13 yrs ago that the plans to streamline the reappointments of MS's and Elders would be forthcoming. I haven't heard of any easy reappointments lately.

About one month, 7 hrs, and 46 seconds. That seems to be the record. That record, last year, was almost broken by a American, but he was medically analysed and accused of taking steriods. So, he was disqualified.
