Interesting day yesterday
by LisaRose ini have started walking every morning for twenty or thirty minutes.
so yesterday i had to work and almost didn't go, but decided to get in a quick ten minute walk.
i don't usually take my phone, but decided to take it, and i was so glad i did because a block from my house i came upon an older chinese man face down on the sidewalk and bleeding profusely from his mouth/face.

On the sign displayed in the news broadcast, it looks like another language is using the same KH. These Attendents are just not thinking. If it was me, I would of just opened that foreign language group's door and asked the trouble maker to enter that room. Then they would have had to deal with him in there. That is a good argument for inviting the Chineese to share your KH. Most of those guys know Karate. -

Unfortunately they expect a lot from Attendents. Sometimes they give that job to older ones who are burnt out and not much use in anything else. -

Hi Breezy,
Welcome, first of all, if you are living under your parents roof and you are still dependent on them, the pressure gets harder. If you are employed, and financially capable in providing for yourself, then it gets easier for you to get your independence. If it's the latter, move out.

No longer qualifies to share in the ministry?
by StephaneLaliberte ini heard that co's were provided with a talk outline in which people who dress and act too "gay" could eventually "no longer qualify to share in the ministry", should they not change the way they look!.
has anyone else ever heard of any other reason for which someone would be disqualified from the ministry?.

Oh the humanities...my wicked neighbor!
by username ini have been given a piece of birthday cake as it was his birthday yesterday!
will i be a human hot dog now?.....
this just got me thinking of all the stupidities of the watchtower teachings, someone very kindly offers you something as innocent as a slice of chocolate cake but we were supposed to turn it down because that peace of chocolate cake now had horns poking out the top of the chocolate frosting.

For this one, it's better to ask forgiveness than permission. I have to confess that there have been many Christmas, Easter, Birthday, Halloween, cakes that I have devoured.in my lifetime. Hmmm now I'm scared, I'm shaken. I'm terrified -

Well, I guess it depends on who the individuals are that are in the public with a cart display. I know some that just stand there meekly, and smile, and I know some that can talk circles around someone and right or wrong they can certainly win arguments. It depends on who you get that day. Sometimes you'll win the battle, but who is winning the war? Where will you be 20 years from now? The JW's will surely be here and still smilling -

I guess what I'm trying to say in this topic, is that those two JW's were told to smile and not to engage in an argument. Even if they dissagree/agree with the errors of the WT, they were told that they cannot stand there and win arguments. That is something that is hard to do. I really feel for them. Sometimes they are used as target practice by some who have a bone to pick with the Org.
