Well, I did see someone partake of the emblems, who became a GB member. He actually gave the Memorial talk, as well.
That number thing will always be off. We have so many people confused about that issue.
Sorry, hit the enter button too soon. Just attended our memorial meeting. We were really packed. There was all those family members that showed up just to please the family member that was regular. We did our bit to welcome them. Some Return Visits showed up, and some didn't. I got to wondering as we covered about 80 % of our territory with invites. What would we do if all 40,000 showed up?

doesn't that writing commitee know the meaning of such words.. i wonder if they are trying to mislead by using this wording, or, they just don't get it..
I never did like this play with words. Could you imagine Jesus' sermon on the mount using a play on words to give his message.
Wikepedia does state that a Public Service, involves government administration. The members of JW's are not part of the government. They are neutral. It is a misleading statement.

There is a letter to the BOE about Elders using Iphones. This is meant to not frustrate the poorer members who can't afford to get them.
