No you don't have a room in your home as a shrine to Russel.
The shrine is in your heart and mind.
Amen! This is what the Spirit is saying to you, RR.
If you have 'ears,' may you 'hear' what the Spirit is saying...
jens in a pm reminded me of a pastor russell biography that was in the works some years ago.
problems after problems prevented it from going forward.
in the meanwhile there have been a few pastor russell's biographies in the works, some by bible students others by outsiders.

Dearest RR,
May you have the GREATEST of peace.
You 'say' you worship your heavenly Father and his Son, but truthfully, you hang on strongly to the words of a 'man' who has been called "Pastor Russell." You, like the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society have been decieved into worshiping a man/group of men/organization but have been told "you are really worshipping your Heavenly Father."
Your own bible tells you "not to put your trust in nobles, nor in the son of earthling man to whom no salvation belongs," yet you, in your heart, continue to glorify and emulate a man to whom the Spirit did not direct you to, and you have put faith in many of his words.
You do not have to continue this way.. for there is One whom you can go to who will "remove" this idolatry from you..but, ONLY if you "wish" it and ONLY if you "want" him to. However, if you do not wish him to and you do not want him to, then you will continue to be a slave to it, continue to be decieved by it, and in time IT will continue to be hidden from you and when the Adversary sees fit.. HE will use it AGAINST you.
If you have "ears," may you "hear" what the Spirit is saying to you.

Dearest RR,
Why do you worship this man?
all of my life,, except for the last two years i was a jw, and i wonder if i will always feel like i am still so very different from the rest of most everyone i know.
i guess i still feel like i am on the "outside" looking in, in on the world of the people i was so alienated from for so long.. i celebrate birthdays, all the holidays, i stand for the national anthemn, but still it does not quiet feel second nature to me .
as i stand watching my son play high school football, my mind is always wandering on the marvel of what i am seeing.
To Craig,
May you have peace!
If you wish to know, Craig, you will know. There is much proof of what I have been given to speak. And I have been told that the proof that you will receive will not come from me.. it will come directly from Him. I am fine with this because I have been given an 'understanding' of what that proof in part will be like, so I am not concerned. You will have such proof and when you do receive it, then you may have great trouble reconciling it with what you did not wish to believe. It will be at that time that you will have to "give up" what you did not want to believe, because it will not help you.

Greetings,
There are many who will always feel they are different from the world and it is not because of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. That which is physical came from that which is spiritual and when we all 'fall asleep,' we will return to that which is spiritual.
Those to whom the Father has given to his Son will ALWAYS feel like they are different from the world, different from the WTBTS, different from the religions. Many of them will even feel "alone," but they are not alone. God knew that many of us would feel this way and that many, many would want "answers" to the reason why we feel the things we feel and want the things we want. Therefore his Son speaks into the heart of ANYONE who anywhere is "willing" to hear, who is "wanting" to know. He answers them even if they do not KNOW him. He speaks to anyone who wants to know what is true, however, anyone who does not wish to know; he does not force himself upon them to know. This is why many believe there is no God because their hearts do not wish to hear from God, and because God does not force himself upon anyone; he will conceal his face from them so they DO NOT sense even his presence... unless they want to.
how are you ... and hope everyone is good.
anyways, i'm a muslim guy and i live in the states ,,, i do love living in here ,,, and my wife is christain " mormon " ,,,,,,,,,,, .
and i'd love to discuse with one of you about the bible ,,,,,,, .
Greetings to both of you, my borthers (LittleToe, Looking-4-the-truth),
Peace be with both of you.
Looking, in Deutermonomy 18:17-19 it says, "And the Lord said unto me, "They have well spoken that which they have spoken. I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not harken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him."
The Lord will choose a prophet from among their brothers, a man, and he will be like Moses. And the Lord will put his own words into the mouth of this prophet and he will speak all that the Lord commands him. And it will 'come to pass' that anyone who does not listen to the words of this prophet will have an account required of him.
So if we wish to know if Muhammed was 'such a prophet,' we need to know what he was "commanded to speak." Looking-4-the-truth, do you know what the Prophet Muhammed said "in the name of the Lord?"

to all christians, or others, is there any proof of the promised messiah being jesus of nazareth and if so, how can you be sure if he existed?
.
Dearest frankie,
Peace be with you.
The Spirit asks Jew to ask himself those questions and for him to really "search" his heart about his intentions. Why does the Spirit do this? Because for Jew "specifically," his intentions will affect what he believes and what he doesn't believe and the Spirit knows that he, in his heart, is unaware of this. So the Spirit helps him to "see" (because the Spirit forces no one to do anything, but respects our free will) this by directing him to ask himself these questions.

Dearest Jew,
I wish you the GREATEST of peace!
I wasn't sure how to answer your post because what "evidence" you are asking for, I don't know if I can supply that. I asked my Lord and this is what I have heard:
"If you are indeed asking, keep asking and you will find. Keep seeking, keep knocking and the door will be opened to you."
I was also granted by the Spirit to share this with you, Jew. Jew, if you are truly serious about finding out, you really have to look at your intentions behind WHY you are asking, WHY you want to know. Are you asking because you "want" to believe? If so, WHY do you want to believe? Are you asking so that you can choose NOT to believe? If so, WHY do you wish not to believe? You really have to look at your intents behind why you ask because your intents, your heart, can DETERMINE for you "what" you will believe and "what" you will not believe REGARDLESS of what evidence or "proof" is set before you.
Take care,
Aaron
i've had many a conversation with my girlfriend on this.
my thinking is, if god actively chooses to bless certain individuals, couldn't his withholding of blessings from others be considered a form of punishment?.
religions in general are quick to say that on a daily basis god blesses his followers (people pray for it continuously) but rarely do i hear that the god they worship actively/daily punishes people.
Greetings doogie,
The Father gives a blessing to anyone who asks for it. I can understand why you would feel that witholding a blessing would be punishment; but I must tell you that what "christians" (as well as the world) consider to be a 'blessing' and what the Father considers to be a blessing are VERY different.
"Christians" feel that God's blessing is whenever something "good" happens to them. That is, good to their flesh. So, if they get a new car, or a new house, they say God is "blessing" them. Or if they pray to God for something and it comes quickly or easily, they think that God has "answered" them. However, this is not always the case.
When God blesses someone, he is doing what is best for the individual. This means that if one (even a christian) prays to God for a 'new car,' and the Father sees that it is not in his/her best interests to have a new car, if a new car comes and the person obtains it thinking it was from God, that one was fooled because it was not from the Father. Now, anything that does not come from the Father is coming from the Adversary. When the Father blesses someone, he gives them what is best for them. Therefore, if he sees in one that because of their anger they are not able to obtain 'peace' and he sees in their heart that they are 'asking' for peace, he will bless that individual by telling him/her and/or sending one to him/her to tell him/her that the reason they are unable to obtain peace is because they have anger issues. Being told from the Spirit what we are doing wrong IS a blessing. Now, after receiving this blessing people will "appreciate" and be "thankful" for the correction, get offended and persecute the one who delivered such correction, or perhaps ignore the messenger and disregard what was told to him/her. Many times people do not like to receive correction and therefore, when God wishes to BLESS someone by "correcting" him/her, they DON'T want the blessing. Therefore, God does not force anything upon them that they wish NOT to receive. Is God withholding this blessing a punishment? No, it is not, for in doing so he is RESPECTING the person's free will not to receive such blessing.
When the Father sent forth his Son into the earth, he richly blessed Israel by telling them their works were wicked and tried to turn each one from their wicked deeds. They responded by hating him and hanging him upon a tree. Many times Pastors or Deacons or religious ones of the churches are asking in their hearts to receive things from God or wish to hear the truth, yet when the Father sends such ones to them to BLESS them by telling them what they need to hear, that they have been misled, may of them respond to the blessing by persecuting the messengers and slandering him/her and slandering the One who sent him/her. When ones are sent to give a blessing in the form of correction and the person actually 'heeds' the words and receives the correction, the 'peace' they receive proves to be a TRUE blessing because not only have they been delivered from their wicked ways, but now they have a peace of mind and can help others who are asking to also be delivered.
God does not bless people by building up their flesh and giving what their flesh craves. He builds up their spirits so that they may have GREATER peace and understanding and come to know wisdom and knowledge. If a person is hungry or thirsty or in a physical need, he will bless them physically and he adds no pain with it. However, if one is asking for something for a wrong purpose, God does not answer those things. Everything he does is for a 'purpose' and he does not give to others what would prove to be detrimental to them. Therefore, if God withholds a blessing; he is doing it for THEIR benefit because many times people do not realize what it is they are asking for, until they 'receive it' and REGRET it.
Aaron
you have several vivid visions.
in the visions a person/entity tells you that s/he is god.
when this happens you are awake and you have not deliberately ingested any drugs.
Peace be with you.
you asked: "You have several vivid visions. In the visions a person/entity tells you that s/he is God. When this happens you are awake and you have not deliberately ingested any drugs. During these visions you feel clear headed and peaceful. This person/entity is not frightening.
1. Do you accept this vision as from God? If so, why? "
Not yet, because the feeling of peace and clearheadedness does not instantly mean that the vision was from God. What was the vision? What was the purpose of the vision? Was it something pleasing to the flesh or beneficial for the spirit? Who's interest is the vision in? Is it in my best interests or that of the other person? Is the vision a message of comfort or is it reproof? Has someone sinned? Have I sinned? Why is this vision being brought to my attention? Does the vision "bear witness with my spirit?"
These things, and perhaps others, need to be known before one can discern if what was told or shown to them (in this case, the vision) originated from the Father, because many false prophets have entered into the world.
Peace to you,
Aaron
