  in short:- tight pants is no longer just a am3 hang up (or is that a hang up on the well hung?

  )- brothers who have effeminate body language are flagged up- as are sisters with 'masculine' hair styles or dress- such dress is 'disturbing to the congregation'- the above must heed the (repeated) counsel from the elders...or they get stripped of the right to share on the ministry- however...this will not be revealed (announced) to the congregation.

  which parts of the publications are the innacurate words of 'just imperfect men', and which parts are the inerrant words from the mouthpiece of jehovah on earth?.

  how can you trust that you are being given correct information?

  Good, bad, wacky or tactful....... Every method helps, some are not as effecient as others but adult learners learn differently. We cannot make someone leave but we all can help by posting/commenting our thoughts and experiences about our enemy, the watchtower bible & tract society. When our relatives/friends are ready to free themselves they will have no small tool to assist them.

  Just curious

  i remember that every time when my father and i came home from the meeting, my mother (who stayed at home for my disabled brother) asked us "who was attending and who wasn't attending".. and then, we took some time to drink coffee and went through the list who was there and who wasn't.

  there after there was an opinion made why someone was absent and what this meant in relation with his strength of believe.. just curious, do you recognize this?

  just got done watching parts of the october episode at jdub.broadcasting and it looks like the definition of "sacred service" is getting an update.

  construction work, helping out fellow dubs, even helping out non-beliebers and opposers will soon be adding up to record progress for publishers... gett ready for a huge increase in hours being reported.... can you hear it now??

  Family fun

  went to over to family gathering at a cousin's home in upstate ny over the weekend.

  in the late afternoon, several bet-hell constructions workers arrived (some family, others just friends), after a nice day of slavery at the construction site.

  endless bragging ensued while we gathered around a bonfire, from how "the construction is going forward in seamless way", using "the best techniques and materials in construction" to the fact that the obama care website doesn't work properly and how it's "complete garbage when compared to the jw.org.".

  A question for the shunned re: hide or seek

  so here's my question as a newly daed person that is summarily shunned.

  do you hide from family and act like you don't exist or do you let them know you're still here and seek them out?

  they want you to be dead, like you no longer exist, because strict avoidance makes it easier on them.

  Do not allow their actions to change yours. If you are compelled by your own personal desire to include them in cards/anniversary and such then do that, if you are not compelled, do not.

  Guess what? Its your life now, you can live by the dictates of YOUR conscience.... no one elses.

  Tired of the truth... Tired of doubting

  i'm reaching out here, i've known ttatt for about 3-4 years now.

  sadly when i first grasped it i had a total mental breakdown as i was a hard core firm to the core pioneer and 110% believer of my faith.!

  now nearly 2years on after my breakdown i still have to attend to please my jw wife.

  I am a firm believer that to keep on doing something that goes against your conscience, you are damaging your own mental health. We have all done it. You have no judgement from me. There are a million reasons why you should just suck it up for your wifes sake but you WILL damage yourself in the process. Be true to yourself and let the cards fall where they may.

  i was feeling particularly hopeless about the whole jws being assholes thing and sick to death of pretending so ....

  i rang my sister and told her that i no longer believe jws have the truth and the phone went silent, when i asked her to say something she just said if that was the case then she would have to hang up on me and then proceeded to indeed hang up..

  so i texted her back immediately with fu..

  All I can do is speak and live the truth of who I am

  I don't need the JW's permission to be me, all I needed was to give myself permission

  Once you realize the above comments and really KNOW them to be true... The world opens up in spectacular ways for you!

  If you really have to fade, then I guess fade but you WILL be locked in a closet. Just remember though that the closet is locked from the inside.
