  Long Story of my Life/Experience

  also, my wife has come to her limits of understanding me about the witnesses related grief i have been having.

  she has told me many times to stop reading the ex-witness sites because i get depressed and become angry, which sadly is true.

  it's not very productive to be sad throughout the entire day and then shout at your wife for the reason she has no first hand experience about, therefore how could she possibly know and help?

  What a heart wrenching story, thank you for sharing it. My heart really goes out to you. It sounds like depression, anger, and addiction may run in your family? The cult always makes it worse, especially if there's already a genetic component. I hope you are still having therapy now. If not it may help. Growing up our mom was mentally ill and at times unable to properly care for us. Something that helps me deal with feelings of resentment is to view my parents and even the congregation elders all as victims. You truly are a survivor. Healing is often slow and proportionate to the hurt. I wish you progressive healing on your journey!

  so i've thought for a while now that jj has the lowest bar to clear in cinema history.

  all he has to do is make a movie that's not as bad as the prequels.

  but upon viewing the recent trailers, it looks like he's actually got the "feel" of the originals down.

  well i just watched this "epic" video, i would have to say this is probably the most disturbing video yet.

  there campaign to get people back is just pathetic in the most mind-manipulating way.

  Being interviewed by police tomorrow

  well tomorrow is a big day for me.

  i'm finally going to be interviewed by the police about what happened to me as a kid.. im running the whole gamut of emotions at the moment.

  sad, anxious, angry, guilt, fear and many more that cannot be quantified.. i feel physically sick, cannot sleep, have lost my appetite and i am desperately trying not to self harm.. i've got my sister to thank for getting this far.

  Your bravery is admirable! Too many don't come forward because it's so painful. If it helps just one less JW child be abused, speaking out is worth it. You can never know just how far reaching your sole efforts could be for other families.

  What I Hate About Halloween....

  ....is that it has totally wiped away the distinct celebration of november 5th and bonfire night.

  fireworks and bonfires are still ubiquitous this time of year but it's just merged in with halloween which, whilst always being celebrated, was not as promoted and so overwhelming as it is now.. bring back the guy!.

  at the latest co visit something very strange happened.

  during the meeting with the elders and servants he passed out a copy of a hypothetical publisher card and asked us what we could learn from it.

  upon receiving it i saw that the average hours were pretty good, it had return visits and quite a few bible studies.

  To the pioneers: "Don't think I'm like the last C.O. I will not tolerate any unmet yearly hour requirement under any circumstances."

  To the elders/MS: "Don't underestimate me. I have been known to dissolve entire congregations in one visit. I did in my last assignment and will not hesitate to do it again."

  when someone interacts with you they can influence your thoughts and also manipulate your thinking.

  i became aware that this is what i was doing with householders on the ministry.

  we chipped away at householders with manipulation, and called it a return call.

  100% agree. I remember telling my bible student, "you're not going to progress until you start going to the KH." So she finally went, and what do you know is now a baptized subservient. When I think about all the bible students I used mind control on as a pioneer I feel awful. I just remember, I was under mind control too.

  'Seek the Kingdom First' Economics

  has anyone else's family finances been victim to the 'seek the kingdom first' economic policy?.

  for years, my husband and i have had our own business, my husband is not the most proactive guy, prefers to go in field service than to work, but he has always encouraged me to 'rely on jehovah and all these other things will be added to you', 'seek the kingdom first' etc etc.

  there have been times, such as when i was heavily pregnant and we lost a big deal, that i have been begging jehovah on hands and knees to honour that promise, wondering why he wasn't helping us.

  Diogenesister has good advice, you can often get free financial and debt counseling through your bank. They can help you set up a plan even if your husband's isn't on board.

  Dubstepped it sounds to me like you guys did all the work, not a miracle of God. Congrats on getting out of debt. Your attitude and method reminds me of Dave Ramsey's school of thought.
