How long did it take you to get rid of your WTS library & literature?

I burned around 30 kilos of JW literature in one go, in the middle of my garden. Then I found out another 10 kilos in a closet and I'm keeping them in my basement. I don't think I'll burn those. After 30 or more years I'll rub them in the noses of the dubs who come at my door and preach about the imminence of the Big A.

New Light on conducting meetings for Field Service
by Mad Sweeney inaccording to the governing body letters blogspot, the february 2011 km establishes a prohibition on reading the daily text at meetings for field service.. no further details are given.
anyone have theirs and can post a scan or a summary?.

I knew since last year that the daily text was to be read at the meetings if it related to field service. About 20% of the texts REALLY related to the FS, the others not. And just half of these coincided with the days of our field-service meetings (wednesday, friday, saturday and sunday afternoon sometimes).
When a less qualified brother (or one who did not do his homework) had to lead the field service meeting (sometimes there was just one brother and some sisters) and had nothing to say at the meeting, he was supposed to just lead them in prayer and help make the pairs.
If the KM in 2011 february prohibits the reading of the daily text 100% at field-meetings, then this is indeed something new, but not necessarily a dramatic change, since the daily text - if used correctly - was supposed to be used just in one day out of ten, approximately.

Is it possible for the WT society to ever convince us of true reform?
by james_woods ini got to thinking about this and for me anyway, they would have to come clean on at least the following things:.
an honest retraction must be made on all the ridiculous chronology (of course including the false prophecies).
by this i mean, stop this psuedo numerology stuff of adding up this or that date, adding on x many years, etc.

Well, then they will be a bunch of nice and well intentioned people who believe in an ancient truckload of crap, aka The Bible. I'm done searching for God. If he needs me, he knows where to find me. Eastern Europe, maybe, but definetly not Romania. If the pic was taken in Romania, it should have at least one fat person in it.
There is a special department at Bethel NY who takes all the pictures in a special studio. Some of them are later photoshop-ed. All those in the pics are JWs who willingly give their accord to be pictured. I saw the entire process on one of the dvds from this year. I think I may be still in possesion of a copy.
