Thank you all. I really need to stop reading the Watchtower. It has been a tough week for me. Yesterday I officially said goodbye to my best friend...</3 She said she was sorry to lose me too, but she had a better Friend, and she didn't wanna lose Him..... I understand how she feels, i've felt it before as a witness, but i wish there was a way around it......

awww!! I just saw this. Thanks Mouthy, so glad you finally got it ^^ Mexican postal service said it'd be there before december 25th, guess they meant of 2011 XD I'm just glad it got delivered at all hehe.

Do you notice a difference in new relationships out of 'the truth'?
by New light for you inits 3 years since i (we) left, we somehow didn't have a committee or anything, but were able to leave with no friends, but still able to have contact with my jw mom.
in these 3 years of "learing" how to get and have friends that aren't witnesses its been quite the learning curve.
how do you meet people?

To be perfectly honest, i do miss my witness friends at times. I think it's easier to find a good witness friend, than a good worldly friend. I also travel a lot and never used to worry about accomodation. You can't deny it's harder to crash on a worldly stranger's home than a witness stranger....

The Aflockalypse
by brotherdan ini haven't seen anyone talk about the bird deaths that have happened in arkansas and california.
my wife brought this up last night in a way that made me think that she thought there was something apocalypse-ish about it.
i told her that mass dyings happen all the time, but are usually unreported.. what do you guys think could be the cause?.

Sooo happy with my new life

i feel so much happier, i'm at peace, i don't have that feeling like something's missing anymore.

he had integral knowledge about bethel and the like.
i am an emotional guy too so i can kind of relate to why he left.. but, you gotta get thick skin on the forum.

Brotherdan was the first person i e-mailed with about leaving the org. He helped me so much... I was very sad to see him leave. But if he's happier now, then I'm happy for him.

I haven't posted in a while, it's just that i've been so busy with my new life!! I'm so glad i left the org, and so is my brother. I feel so much happier, i'm at peace, i don't have that feeling like something's missing anymore. And I've made new friends who are great people. I have a new job that i'm loving. And I celebrated the new year for the first time :P That was a lot of fun ^^. My birthday is coming up and I'm curious about that date from my new perspective.
I know it feels this way because everything is new to me, but deep inside I know that even if things become less intense in time, there's no way I'll ever want to go back to the pain and repression i felt as a witness.
My parents and witness brothers are respecting our decission and won't tell on us. So our fade is working great and our respective elders have stopped chasing after us.
I just really wanted to let you all know I'm having the time of my life, and THANK YOU for helping me make the right choice when I was confused. You guys inspired me :)
So I wish the best of all for you and hope you have a great year ^^

I'm actually still holding my breath because i've been out of town for a couple weeks and won't be back until like February!! So I'll get to see them all super late haha, but i'm excited!
