  if a witness couple who are engaged to one another, decide to express their love toward each other by engaging in sexual intercourse just weeks or even days before they're officially married, they are considered to be loathsome, unclean people.

  the witness girl would be seen by others in the hall as a dirty little whore...and the guy would just be thought of as a horny young man who couldn't keep it in his pants.

  Being raciest, need clarity.

  growing up a witness, and having black friends and and relatives.

  i was kind of in the dark as to what being a raciest was really based on.

  so as i get older and think about it more, i thought it might be an interesting question to discuss what you think makes a person raciest and how they base this thinking.. i am going to use the african american racism in this example, as i think that more then any other group.

  If you hear someone saying "You have to be PC because if you say something then you will get in trouble, but if THEY say something nothing happens"... This is the most absurd attack of all these days. Ever had your toes stepped on and the assailant daring you to NOT say something?

  Look at the crime stats in Russia and Brazil which both beat out the US and lead the world in murders before making conclusions about why crime happens. Economics have the most to do with it.

  free2beme has a good point. When you can show that walking with Jehovah does not mean walking with Jehovahs Witnesses, then that would be effective and damming.

  Walking with Jehovah means trusting in him and his son. It does not mean that somehow He is waiting for your timeslp to go to some random MS then Elder, the Secretary and then Brooklyn to be tallied so that you are worthy. Many fill in those time sheets just for the sake of filling in a timesheet. It's busy work designed to keep you reliant on sons of men.

  Walking with Jehovah means listening to his word and following it. It does not mean you can't understand the bible without a random person in Brooklyn to teach you. Many who are in do not know this, but the writing commitee is not made up only of members of the GB.

  reading the posts about the 2011-7-15 watchtower about mentally retarded apostates i foresee the following scenario:.

  1. congregational elders trying to get grip on non regular publishers and inactive witnesses.. 2. the good ones read in the watchtower that apostates are to find in the local congregation.

  3. inactives like me (i hate this name, but i use their language), and liberal witness like me, will be hunted, .

  I agree with nugget. There was a convention around the time my ex local hall studied the Sept 15 2010 Watchtower. I thought it was a pretty big deal. Around those times, the WT would be studied (glossed over) at the convention, or glossed over because attendance at the hall the weeks before or after a convention was lower because they would be on vacation and/or go to another circuit's convention.

  two sisters from our hall stopped by today and asked my wife if we were going to the memorial.

  she said "no", they thought she was joking.

  then the the four year old little girl started asking if luna still served jehovah and mom said "of course she does".

  There was a little JW girl who asked me the other day "Do you celebrate Christmas?" This was out of the blue. I told her "No I don't, why do you ask?" "Well you are never at the meetings." I don't know, it was just weird...

  This is good. They think that if you are "weak", DA, DF or whatever, then you must be a cigarette smoking , christmas celebrating, out of wedlock having babies apostate. The little girl will remember your witness that you don't have to be a dub to be a fine person.

  So… according to the Jun 15 WT, Jesus ransom sacrifice only applies to the “anointed class” a.k.a the GB.

  ive noticed for a while now (especially at the assemblies) the frequent use of the term: jehovahs friends whenever they referr to the second class christian, ahem....great crowd, aka the non-anointed christian with earthly hope.

  even in some wt studies they often throw in phrases like seeking friendship with jehovah, our friend jehovah, etc.

  so, the subtle message is clear, the great crowd are not children of god, they are friends of god.

  If the Greek scriptures were written for the annointed, then only the annointed should be the ones going do to door according to Acts. That can be a hornets' nest of conflicts with their control and doctrine over the Great Crowd.
