Do you actually have a job?
If so then you're already doing better than 9% of college graduates.
I'm not saying you shouldn't go to college. If you can, that'd be great. But don't sacrifice your current job in the process.
i am faced with a dilema right now and need some advice on what i should do with my future, i realize that eventually i'll grow old and will need to somehow work my way up so i have something to fall back on, like someone told me once i don't really have a support structure to fall back on, if something happened where i could not work i would probably wind up homeless, moving back in with my parents house would be out of the question because i would never go back to the borg.. this is my situation right now, everything is going good, i love my job, i am single no kids, i work at a hosptal making $10/hour doing janitorial work, also my rent is very cheap about $350 a month for rent on a duplex, i live less then a mile from work, right now i have the most ideal situation to save alot of money even on $10/hr job, but also i realize that everything can go all at once, if i ever lost my job since i don't have no support structure and could not find work i would be sol.. now to some of the things i like doing, i like to drive, one of the things i have always wanted to do is learn truck driving, since i don't have no extra responsibilites, i am still having a hard time though making a decision, on one hand i like my current job, but on the other hand i realize that i do have to plan for the future, if anyone can give me some advice i am at a loss of what to do, also because of the way the econommy is here in the us right now sometimes i think its best to stick with the job that i have but still don't know whats best..

many bothans died to bring us this information.... the star wars films are about to be released on blu-ray.

I am altering the film. . .
Pray I do not alter it any further.

on p. 26-27 they talk about how the lunar positions on vat 4956 fit 588/7 bce!!!.
"clearly, much of the astronomical data in vat 4956 fits the year 588 b.c.e.
So. . . Calculating the time based on the position of the moon, but not taking into account where the planets where.
Isn't that a bit like calculating the the time of day by the minute hand but disregarding the hour?
"Well the minute hand was in this position at 12:31 which seems to coincide with scientists theories about the time of Kennedy's assassinatoin but our research has shown that it was also in this same position at 10:31 only 2 hours earlier." *
*Because the location of the hour hand is open to speculation and multiple opinions the hour hands position was not
used to pinpoint the time of the assassination in our study.

german city of bonn taxes prostitutes with meterthe prostitution meter is said to be the first of its kindthe german city of bonn has installed a meter to tax prostitutes for soliciting on its streets at a rate of six euros (5.30; $8.70) per night.. those who fail to pay face fines or even a ban, and 264 euros were found in the meter when it was first emptied, according to afp news agency.. tax has been levied on prostitutes elsewhere but bonn is the first city to use a meter, a spokeswoman said.. but a prostitutes' rights activist said the scheme amounted to double taxation.. prostitutes are expected to pay the flat rate, regardless of earnings.. the machine, which looks like an ordinary parking meter, has been installed in an industrial area near the city centre which favoured by prostitutes and their clients.. 'consummation areas'.
isabelle klotz, a spokeswoman for the city, said they expected to get about 200,000 euros per year from the meter.. the "consummation areas" are wooden cubicles designed to screen cars"women who work in brothels also pay the tax but until now it had been difficult to get women on the street to pay," she added.. "thanks to this new method we will be able to tax them in all fairness with the others.".
Eh-Whaaa?
this is the crowd before the riot in canada.
put your cursor anywhere in the crowd and double-click a couple of times and then use the roll button in the centre of your mouse.
this is pretty amazing.
Found waldo.
It'd be so awesome if she put waldo in there somewhere!
i bought a book for my daughter called 'the daring book for girls'.
it's really cool and has lots of fun stuff in it but there's a section on slumber parties where they describe a few games.
this has opened up some questions for me.... the first game described is 'bloody mary'.
A 15 year old girl should weigh under 150 lbs.
150 / 5 = 30lbs per person
She won't levitate, but it'll sure feel that way when you're lifting something that would otherwise be 150 lbs with just your finger.
Chanting "bloody mary" isn't supposed to 'make something spooky happen' it's specifically supposed to summon Bloody Mary through the mirror who will then proceed to dismember the summoner. . .
But of course in a dark room any little bump, weird blotch on the mirror or snickering noises from the girls waiting outside will be perceived to be the chant 'working'.
Ouija boards have actually been studied and explained to death over the past 120 years since they were first patented in America in the 1890s as a novelty toy. http://skepdic.com/ouija.html
What's really funny about ouija boards is that in most stories about them, it's not the actual words they spell out. . . but it's the random other stuff that happens hours or days later which everyone decides to attribute to the Ouija Board for some reason.
Feeling someone breathing on your face at night. Lets assume for the sake of argument that this REALLY WAS some ghost breathing on your face at night. . . what does that have to do with the ouija board? Maybe your next-door neighbor summoned Bloody Mary or something.
i have noticed that when ppl drink usually say things that wont otherwise .... according to your opinion and experience , drunk ppl usually tell the truth about their feelings about some situations?.
Alchohol does two things that are relevant to this discussion.
1: It removes your inhibitions and makes you more likely to do things you'd normally think better of.
2: It alters your perception of reality and generally makes you a bumbling idiot.
So if a drunk guy tells you he hates you and never wants to see you again. . . It could mean that in general he hates you and wishes you'd go away but would never TELL you that while sober.
OR it could be that his brain isn't working right and he only hates you at that moment.
As far as them always telling the truth? Just ask a drunk guy: "are you drunk?" and see if he tells you the truth.
i was supposed to go to a judical meeting on sat but i told the elders i wasnt going but they held it anyway.
its going to be announced that im going to be disfellowshipped at the weekend.
hate the fact my parents wont talk to me anymore.
I hope they will still see their grandson though.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who is confused by this. . .
i am not a jw but one thing that they really get me on is when they call the outside world a "wicked system of things" and say it is run by the devil.
i know the world can be great and people can be wonderful but on the flip side, the bad seems to be getting worse and morals seem to be flying out the window.
i don't know, what do you guys think?
IO is right on the money.
When you say that things are getting worse, and that morals are degrading. . . it really depends on how you view it.
Gay rights. I would say that's morals improving. Others would say that's morals degrading.
Sexual equality. I would say that's morals improving. Others would say that's morals degrading.
Abortion rights. I would say that's morals improving. Others would say that's morals degrading.
it has been over a month and a half since i have even been on the board, and that really only to ask about gps units (got a tom-tom) and mention the new job.
way too busy with life - post jw now 4 years.. of course, the new job has benefits, health insurance, etc.
(including unlimited use of the company car for personal use and the company pays for the unlimited gas for about a $25/week out of my check -- huge benefit) and this has enabled toni and i to finally after a two year engagement, to get married.
