Are You Afraid To Die Alone?

i know of someone that is concerned that she will be all alone when she dies.. are you afraid to die alone??

Afraid of it? No.

Would I be upset? Depends on what kind of mood I'm in at the time I guess. . . It might be more annoying to die with company depending on who it is.

I'd be more afraid of dying BECAUSE I'm alone. . . I could be really old and fall and not have anyone to help and die because of it.

But if I'm dying either way I'd probably prefer if there was nobody around at the time.

So Why Exactly Did Joe Paterno Get Fired?

someone reported to joe that they witnessed one of his coaches molesting a young boy.

joe reports it to his bosses and his bosses reports it to the da.

betweeb joe, his bosses, and the da someone questions the coach about the alleged molestation and he denies it.

I'm not from Philadelpha, and I geniunely don't give a crap about Joe Paterno or whatever sport it was he was coaching.

But if I understand correctly here's what happened.

Joe is a coach. This puts him in a position of authority over his team. Not over the whole school and only so far as the law allows, he doesn't have the ability to throw people in jail.

Sandy was a coach-in-training or something and was somehow under Joe's authority maybe? Not sure on that one.

An assistant coach (unnamed, would this be a child or a school employee?) told Joe that he SAW Sandy molesting a 10 year old boy.

Joe, not an eyewitness and going soley on this assistants word, told the higher-ups what he knew.

The higher-ups 'investigated' and decided there was no evidence to prosecute.

If I were in Joe's shoes I'd assume that this was all I was required to do. I could go to the police, but I have NO evidence, I didn't see it, and the guys who should know about these things have already decided there was not enough evidence to do anything.

Knowing that, I'd STILL tell the cops and say: "Hey, I have no evidence whatsoever, but someone told me that Sandy was molesting a 10 year old. . . that's all I know, kthxbai"

But seriously I might not even do that depending on how reliable the assistant coach was and how much I trusted the judgement of my superiors.

Who the heck is this assistant coach, and if he actually SAW this take place, why isn't he the one in trouble? Why did he tell Joe instead of the police. . . what the heck did he expect Joe to do about it?

The people Joe reported this too, they are under the EXACT same obligations Joe was under.

Ding, I'm going strictly by JW theology here, I'm sure there are plently of biblical reasons non-witnesses could could come up for why Jesus HAD to be tortured for the spell to work.

But according to the witnesses, Jesus dying was the ransom, and it didn't really matter how he died.

The torturing part was simply a response to Satan saying that humans would not worship god if tried. (Even though I'm not sure Satan ever said that.)

Well technically Jesus just had to die. A perfect life had to be given to replace the perfect life Adam lost. (Because for some reason if 1 perfect guy dies, it's bad, but if 2 perfect guys die it's good. . . ?)

So Jesus didn't have to be tortured to death, he just had to die at some point.

He could have died in birth or in his sleep after ruling the world as a perfect man for 5,000 years.

The torturing part was not for humans benefit, that was to prove a point to Satan for Gods benefit.

i'll start it off.

What would you do to make yourself known and to improve things in the world?

I'd find a random old guy and tell him everything I want done. Then I'd have him write a book about it and hope it all works out from there. . . Wait no that'd be stupid.

I'd write magic text in the sky that says: "Under new management" for a week (But it goes away temporarily during sunrise and sunset, I don't wanna mess that up.) It would of course be magic text which is readable by every language from everywhere on earth. It'd be mirrored for people in the space station cause that would be funny.

(I split the miracles up into days because it build anticipation and makes people excited.)

Day 1: I cure everyones ailments. Stop all natural disasters and change all diseases so they no longer effect humans.

Day 2: I make children invincible. In most video games when you attack a monster, it kills them, when you attack a friendly person or a child, it goes right through them. That's how real life should be!

Day 3: I create a spell for summoning bread and fresh water. You just gotta draw some simple design on a container from dirt, ink, poop blood or whatever and a loaf of very nutritious bread appears inside the container. Tada, hunger is now solved worldwide, but you still gotta work if you want yummy food.

Day 4: Addiction is no longer possible. Human brains stop thinking they need substances they really don't need. Drugs still work, you just don't get addicted.

Day 5: I make a set of laws and rules, very simple ones. Everyone who follows these rules has the ability to teleport out of this dimension into a paradise-like dimension and associate with other people who follow my rules. They can of course teleport back and forth from this dimension whenever they want.

Day 6: People who follow my rules gradually grow younger. When you stop obeying my rules, you gradually grow older 3 times as fast as you grew young. (That way you have to be good at LEAST 3/4 of the time) You can't die if you're following my rules. All of my rules are written on the inside of your freeking eyelids from birth which you can see just by thinking about them. This way nobody can change them without my permission.

With those changes in place, it's now pretty much impossible for innocent people to be harmed.

There's a little bit of micromanaging I'd have to do for a while. For example I'd probably give some kind of perks to all the doctors, nurses, firemen and other people who were awesome but depended on suffering to live and are now out of jobs.

Sound a bit rediculous? Yeah well, I'm omnipotent, I can do rediculous things. Frankly if god existed these are the kinds of changes I'd imagine he'd make make. And I'm pretty sure none of this violates free-will.

I know that witnesses are not allowed to store their own blood for later use. Basically this is just GROWING your own blood instead of storing it. . . I doubt a lot of witnesses will see a difference.
