Why?
What does that have to do with the Watchtower Corporation?
If he's a saint or a the next Hitler it has nothing to do with the witnesses.
And it includes his home address and phone number from 2002. And his marriage records. Not only is this stuff irrelevant to the witnesses, it's all publicily available online. No 'hacking' was involved to get this information. None of it is secret. It's not a LEAK. Why is this in an 'Anonymous' package?

Did you get a chance to examine them closely? I have not yet opened them. What is exactly in those documents?
I haven't seen everything yet. But mostly it's just pdfs of assertions which a witness would just dismiss out of hand as apostate lies.
It's pretty much just CLAIMS with no evidence stuck in pdf format for no reason.
They do have some decent stuff, like TS just linked. It's all the stuff that was sent to the elders in 2011. It includes the new elder manual, which was leaked before it even came out, and standard kingdom hall floor plans, which every single member of the RBC could easily access.
Basically the only things in this 700mb package that could legitimately be called a 'leak' has been posted here already by Atlantis in less inconvenient formats and without all the propaganda thrown in.

I hate to sound nitpicky, but aren't all of these documents created by third parties opposed to the witnesses. Not really what I would call a 'leak' since none of the documents included actually come from the watchtower themselves.
It's more of an organized collection of publicially available data.

It's not just 'a chance' it's the rule.

How does this change things legally?
It may not. But in theory here's how:
The magazines say how to treat disfellowshipped people; Like garbage.
If they announce: Bob is disfellowshipped. Then they are saying: "Treat Bob like garbage."
But they never actually SAY: "Bob is disfellowshipped." They say: "Bob is no longer one of Jehovah's Witnesses."
Now of course every witness in the building KNOWS what that actually means. But they never officially say it.
So the law can come back and say: "You told Bob's family to treat Bob like garbage!"
The witnesses can say: "No we didn't, they did that all on their own. We said to treat 'disfellowshipped' people like garbage, but we never said Bob was disfellowshipped! Their own consciences must have compelled them, not us."

They like to believe that even people who are no longer witnesses still think it's The Truth, they are just incapable of living up to the standards.
But if someone disassociates themselves, then they weren't just being punished for sinning, they CHOSE to leave.
Which means maybe they *gasp* no longer think it's the truth!?
So now regardless of whether X disassociates himself or he is disfellowshipped, the elders announce X as being "no longer one of Jehovah's Witnesses."
That way the congregation will assume X is being punished and they won't think that it was X's choice
believers, take a guess which and explain how this is possible..

Do you mean it as it is written? That Abraham and Sarah existed prior to King David and the writing of the Bible?
That's exactly what the Bible claims happened: That Abraham was an ancestor of Moses who was the first bible writer. So Abraham would have to have existed before the Bible and King David who was also one of his decendants.
Most people live before their children.
