Good questions Terry, many more can be asked. How would we treat............if
we believe He will kill us if we don't worship him?
he is a person of our imagination based on what the bible says and the borg say He is?
we treat the other differently the more we know about them.. if we meet a powerful official we act, talk and think differently while in their presence.
(rather than a homeless person, a gang member, a saleman, etc.).
how much more so this affects how we think and act concerning who we worship!.

just having had my circuit assembly recently, i felt that the expenses in a watchtower-owned building seemed extremely over-inflated.
over $9000 for two days.
there were approximately 750-800 in attendance each day.
Robert, no taxes on these places. Long after they are paid off the charges still don't go down. They charge a premium price to rent these halls for the one or two day assemblies because these halls are a big part of their money making machine.
i was doing some research yesterday on this scripture: 1 corinthians 4:6!.
"now, brothers, these things i have transferred so as to apply to myself and a?pollos for your good, that in our case you may learn the [rule]: do not go beyond the things that are written, in order that you may not be puffed up individually in favor of the one against the other.".
read this from the watchtower 2008, april 15th, page 7:.
A great example of Borg going beyond is their ever changing rules on blood. If they Really believed 'no blood' in the beginning of that doctrine they would have not even allowed blood tests. When I was a kid and my parents became Witnesses, we used to check food ingredients for lecitin, possibly a blood product. One that was nut was the machine that returns your own blood to you (can't remember the name of it) as long as it was primed not with blood and the blood was continuely contained, if it became exposed to air in the process it was "spilled" and couldn't be used. Look at where they are today on blood. They are absoutely crazy nuts on a doctrine that was going beyond to begin with. Ask a witness where it talks about blood fractions in the bible.
i became a christain at the age of 9. not by going to a church or asking a preacher to baptize me, or anything like that.
i started reading my mother's king james bible cover to cover at the age of 8. my father was very abusive and when he was abusing me, i would close my eyes and pray.
i never hated my father, which is one good thing i got out of prayer.. when i turned 13 i became a lay preacher and traveled, on my own, preaching in any church that would let me.. when i was 15 i studied with the jws and was baptized after four months of study.. i was a zealous christain but not a zealous jw, according to them.
I was just saying the way it is stated in the bible. That man was created in God's image. There are also violent uncivilized humans also, headhunters, canibals.... The thing of it is that not knowing anything about First Cause, God, bibical stories, why a 'God' doesn't communicate with humans.....etc, FOR SURE, we might be debating which fantasy is the right one. No point to my fantasy is better than your fantasy. Anyway, dont't think I disagreeing with you, I'm not, a lot of what you say are things that added to my reasons to try to quietly fade away.

OK, I also have a problem with the violence in the bible. I've said that before. But, just a point, First Cause, or God made man in his image, not the other way around. So, as you said how could God have human charateristics, it is really the other way around, humans have God's charateristics. That would also explain the violent nature of humans at times.
whats the science on leg warmers?
why is that i can see a woman with socks on and it does absolutely nothing for me, but i see leg warmers, and i'm intrigued?.
not hot.
Their legs.
i know a regular pioneer, she's 18 years old.
i just knew that she had a relationship with a politician and a vicepresident of a certain parish church.
i told the elders about it.
Why does the borg want everyone to snitch everyone out anyway when one of there favorite lines is "leave it in Jeh's hand,' or 'Jeh. will work it out?"

Scooby-Doo prey that smelled much better than Adam, a natural fear of man, Jeh, a big stick, angels, Adams superior intelligence and perfect senses (he could hear and smell stinky old bear coming for him), run fast, climb trees, I don't know, all of the above.

Rvalich, absolutely correct! I've said in other posts that if you believe creation it was Jehovah that created 'violence.' The natural creation around us is more violent than a war zone. It's the food chain, and even a animal at the top of the food chain survives only as long as they stay strong, then they are killed or starve. I never believed when I was 'in' that in the paradise predator and prey would live in peace. For that to happen the whole animal creation would have to be redesigned. Jeh designed it all, and don't forget all the scraficial blood spilled to please Jeh.
