Factfinder, good stats. They still have the property in Ramapo. That's the piece they are using for staging for the Place on the Lake. I called it Tuxedo, but it is the same place. Was a law suit with the owner there about Wat getting money back because they couldn't get permits or tax exemption but their time limit had expired, something like that. Don't know how it ended.

Both of these properties are very easy access to major highways just north of NYC and NJ, worth millions. They bought a Hampton Inn in Newburgh to house workers, right off the New York State Thruway, Interstate 84, near route 17 (Interstate 86), a mile from their flagship Newburgh Assembly Hall. About halfway in between Newburgh and Watchtower Farm they just bought a warehouse on Bracken Road in Montgomery NY where they will pre fab bathrooms for the Place on the Lake. Again, adjacent to major highways. As if they can't find enough room at Wat Farm or Patterson to do that. (If you have never seen the Farm or Patterson, they are HUGE complexes). They are trying to buy a 20 unit apartment complex down the road from the Lake. I think I'm fogetting another purchase where they are housing workers. Huge construction at the Farm and huge plans for expansion for Patterson. All prime properties. Unlimited money.

The business men, lawyers, accountants will keep the corporation operating and profitable for a very long time to come. They are raking in money faster then their architechs, designers, and engineers can spend it on their lavious construction projects. Their financial people plan and invest carefully for future income. Money pours in from every assembly with no expenses going out. This is a money sucking up corp at the top of it's game. The GB has nothing to do with it except that the GB is needed to carry on the pretense that it is a religion. Now they have their new money scam cranking up. If you got out be happy about it.

I've said before on other threads over the years but it needs repeating hear. We had a bethelite couple in our hall who became missionaries in Africa someplace. They returned for needed medical attention so of course they visited and we had a special talk about their missionary work in Africa. He talked about their brand new KH----that for lack of $300 dollars they were not able to finish it. When I spoke with him after I questioned why the Society was not giving them any money. Lots of excuses but the bottom line was those poor brothers could not show they had the means to pay the money back. The Society may fund a build but they want their money back. Now they want all the money with complete freedom to spend it how they want. They like expensive elaborate complexes for themselves 1st. and are now spending many many millions on themselves and couldn't give crap about some poor pioneer driving a 200,000 mile wore out car and can't afford a tank of gas as long as their circuit overseers are in their new Buicks supported by the friends. They don't pay for anything.

Just thinking for any BOE that has actively serving bethelites on the body it will be harder to not follow direction, hang on to some extra $$, express any negitive comments, bethelites on BOEs are usually 100% tow the company line
