Christmas Eve Best Wishes To ALL of you .

With these elaborate over the top assembly halls it's a case of brothers in the upper end of Watchtower corp management living life through their alter-egos. They see themselves as big deal real estate, developer, construction tycoons with millions under their control. One of those guys once told me in the commercial world he would be earning 7 figures. Not considering in the real world there is doggy dog competition, money has to be earned and a project has to meet criteria to be a valid project. In Watchtower land money is free and abudant, the main consideration has to be if there is enough circuits in the area of a potential new assembly hall to drop about $15,000 in the boxes each week. Money has no more value than monopoly money. Watchtower corp is passing GO every day as assembly halls and congregations credit the corporate accounts.

They've already built a huge, profitable real estate empire. No reason to hang on to employees and branches not making profit for them. 100% smart business decision. Rolling in money and can't spend it fast enough.

no, everything they claim depends on a belief in another doctrine which logic decrees cannot be found in the bible.
the leadership of jehovah’s witnesses put absolute faith in a protestant doctrine which is given a latin name, sola scriptura, meaning “by scripture alone”.. good evidence of the governing body believing in the primacy of this doctrine was when being questioned by the australian royal commission, they resorted to the ‘authority’ of scripture to defend their stance on having “two witnesses” when they are investigating child abuse cases.throughout the hearing they paraded their naive trust in the bible as the highest possible authority proudly ignoring the fact that most people regard it as having been superseded by modern scientific evaluations of what is true.. .

We've all seen primary teachings change....blood, identity of FS, generation. ...on and on. What is not going to change is they want your money. Their core teaching or primary teaching or truth at this time is going to be whatever gets you into the KH to drop your money into the box.

Core teaching----obediance to the GB, attendance at the KH (because that's where the contribution boxes are) and you can have the hope of everlasting life. That's the product they sell. It's religion that makes the fraud possible. As simply as that.

They are certainly making it easier to be a witness --- less meetings, shorter conventions, less bullshit to read, lowering service time requirements. They do what is needed to keep people coming. If they really believed the end was near don't you think the opposite would be happening??

JW.org is a corporate business, the "friends" are the corporation's customers, their product is false hope, to have their hope one has to be a member of one of the corporation's Kingdom Halls, for the corporation to have a KH in your neighborhood their has to be enough members to transfer enough $$$$$$ into the corporate account each month. Religion is the "front" that makes it work.

Everyone remember; the corporation is not honest and does not always tells the truth. We know that. So, all this is more speculation on why they don't have the resources which may be a lie to begin with.

The end of an era ......
by snare&racket ini have written some time ago, about how the religion i grew up in no longer exists.
i was an 80’s jw kid who became a pioneer then a bethelite.
they have new meetings, new elder roles, new acronyms, new core teachings, new songs and even a new bible.

I also heard the sign was going back up but I doubt that. The Corp does not want to be known as or be called "Watchtower" .....wouldn't be surprised if the sign ends up in one of their historical displays.
