The name of the main outside contractor on the Warwick build is Storm King Group. Company was formally owned by a brother under a different name but similar. I believe they are about done now. Storm King doesn't have cranes, so cranes on site were Watchtower and/or other subs. They probably had 10 or more cranes there at the same time. Cranes are the only heavy equipment requiring a license to operate (at least in NY). Crane operator is the man in charge, high % of any mishap he'll own.

big accident at Warwick construction site
by oppostate inthe wt society is fond of using the tilt-up method of construction where a network of rebar is made on the ground, concrete poured on it and allowed to cure, then the whole thing is tilted up and voila' you've got yourself a massive big-ass wall ready made.
these walls for several stories-high buildings are indeed massive and weighty so you need a heavy-duty crane to raise into position.. i just heard from an eye-witness ldc volunteer that while there a few weeks ago they had an enormous accident.
the crane tilted and crashed, the only one hurt was its operator.

The volunteer that is fired should just just pass his firing off to another volunteer, probably don't matter much which volunteer goes. Imagine how the fired volunteer feels when fired by the volunteer that volunteered with him at the same time. There must be layers of volunteers, temporary volunteers, ordinary volunteers, special volunteers, extra special volunteers, TOP DOG VOLUNTEER, (can never be fired). Many layers of bureaucracy in the Theocracy. -

Bad timing

in view of the cutbacks being announced, this weekends watchtower study is staggeringly badly timed - it's about how kingdom halls should be viewed, financed and maintained.
a footnote even mentions that the same principles apply to "assembly halls and other facilities that are used for pure worship".

So how long have they been doing Trolley work. If it is so effective why didn't GB or Jehovah or Service Dept start this wonderful form of witnessing sooner? If they started a year earlier they would have been able to add 2 or three more to the world wide number of witnesses. -

So if it is all true that these children brought up in religion are better off than not what happens in their adult lives? I personally know a mental health person who deals mostly with JWs. The Society uses her for counseling Bethelites, she is one of the "go to" people for JWs having issues. She is BOOKED. Daytime appts, evening appts, weekend appts. Dr. _______ at Wat Farm refers non Bethelites to her as well. So these well adjusted kids are not fairing to well? -

Micro management to the extreme. There are so, so many brothers in Wat headquarters, (my guess this came from Patterson) they have to create jobs for them to do no matter how ridiculous. There's probably an Overseer Of Kingdom Hall Cleaning Supplies and an Overseer Of Kingdom Hall Cleaning Supply Supplier's List. They probably have assistants. They believe they are doing one hell of a job because the overseer of the Cleaning Supply Overseer brothers told them so, how important and valuable they were to God's Organization, how the preaching work would grind to a halt without them because the Kingdom Halls were cleaned with the wrong products and are filthy. These will be among the brothers that believe when they leave bethel companies will be beating down their doors to pay them "six figures" for their vast and unique knowledge and managerial skills.

Cofty is correct. The Watchtower Corporation is run by its lawyers and accountants. The GB is a figurehead, they fool the flock into not thinking Watchtower is the only true religion when in reality it is a money making non (for) profit organization.
