I was a Ministerial servan for about 10 years and I didn't see anything printed. However, I remember a meeting with a CO in which he said that if we wanted to keep our priviliges we had to preach at least 10 hour every month.

Divine intervention in finding Whitney's body? Really??
by undercover inhttp://www.katu.com/news/local/search-leader-whitney-heichels-sweater-first-clue-found-by-searchers-175893161.html.
new article in local media how the jw church played a crucial role in finding whitney heichel's body.
the true part is that the jw community does come together at times of crisis to help each other, no critique of that.

However the divine intervention is not for all the JWs. In Maryland, one member of the congregation has been dissapeared for almost 19 months. I read that some searches were organized but nobody knows what really happened with this JW. His car was in front of his house and inside there was his cell phone and his wallet.

Anxiety attacks and Door to Door Activity...what have you observed?
by Momma-Tossed-Me induring door to door activity in the distant past i have had the experience of witnessing actual anxiety attacks of jw's who could not handle that required preaching on that day and on more than one occasion.. this is what i have seen on multiple occassions.. extreme headaches, upset stomach to the point of vomiting, visible trembling before even approaching the door, arguments with spouses and children, signs of elevated blood pressure, light sensitiity, a total character change, and basicly a complete shut down to the point of limited communication.
yes we all have butterflies in the stomach associated with certain activities but what i am talking about here bodily affliction to the point of physically affecting the individual in some cases for the rest of the day.. these symptoms are obviously present for some newbie to this type of activity but i have observed this from people who have been exposed to this type of work for years.
i think the body just cannot handle the stress anymore, and the marination in the hormones associated with it.

I experienced that several years. The worst part was when I was in charge of the group. The two elders I worked with used to work on Saturday so I had to take the group out because I was a ministerial servant. When I stepped down I felt better. Now, I enjoyed my weekends and I don't suffer anxiety any more.

Are there many non-English apostate forums???
by diamondiiz inmost of us here, are from english speaking countries and we can see many waking up to the truth in our areas, but how are people doing in other countries?
are there forums like this one in other languages and does anyone know if the foreign speaking "apostates" are also associating together in similar manner as we are able to?
just wondering if we have a much bigger advantage over non-english speaking witnesses in learning he truth about the troof..

Yes, they are many apostate forums in Spanish. Among them I can mention : Spain, Mexico, Chile, Argentina. In one of these sites I read an article about one disabled man whose story was presented in Awake. His picture was on the cover. In this moment I don't remember the date but probably between 1990 and 1995. Now he is an apostate and he gives talks against the Watchtower.

Hello, this is my first post. I was a Jehovah's witness for 14 years in a couple of hispanic congregations. (Spanish is my native language). My wife and my daughter also got baptised. When my two sons were close to be considered adults they decided not to become JW. Although we received some suggestions to kick them out , my wife and I agreed not to follow these " advices". Around 2006 some doubts began to fill my mind: the new light about blood, the birthdays, the faithful and discreet slave doctrine and more. I had heard about 1975 and I wondered why the Society didn't say anything about that. Eventually, I realized that the Watchtower was not the the "truth". I decided to dissasociate myself but I didn't know what to do about my family because I knew I could lose them. Next time, I will tell what happened. (Please excuse my grammar mistakes, spelling, wrong use of commas, etc.)
