if they have been inactive for MANY years, some elders are known to leave someone alone as long as they are not disruptive to their lives or causing trouble with WT.

SAD news about OOMPA......

just recieved the news a couple of hours ago, and have almost no details.
it happened today or yesterday, he took his own life.

One of the 144,000 from my old congregation
by ShirleyW ini always knew that he and his wife live in the same vicinity as i do now, (i've been in same apt for 23 years) and would occasionally see them in the neighborhood.
today i decided to go to a supermarket a few blocks away from me, but closer to where they live, so on the checkout line guess who was in front of me, i didn't say anything till we were both outside the store, he didn't recognize me of course, since the last time i saw them at the halli i was in junior high school.
after mentioning my parents names so he would remember me it finally kicked in, i asked him if they were still associated, because so many haven't been to the kh in decades but for some reason still consider themselves jws.

marshals from san diego are looking for 57 year old frederick cecil mclean, a suspect on the agencys top 15 most wanted list.. in 2005, mclean was charged with four counts of child molestation and one count of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14. the u.s. marshals office says mclean sexual assaulted dozens children between the age of 7 and 12 over the course of about 20 years.. however, marshals say the search for mclean has since gone to cold case status.
