Loz, just found this!
Profoundly hope the diagnosis is right this time and that you feel much better soon!
Take care, Retro
about ten days ago this pain started...kind of around my hip bone then gradually increasing around my back and down my groin.
i managed to see a dr last thursday and although i had no urinary symptoms i thought it was something to do with my kidney.
by then it was becoming unbearable and strong analgesics and anti inflammatories weren't touching it.. the dr disagreed and said 'i think this is the sacroiliac joint'.

wondering with all that has been said about the mentally diseased has anyone heard if a jw can divorce a disease mate?.
Hello and welcome, tif21!
I'm a non-jw, but well aware of the pressure put on a marriage of a believer and UBM, despite all the assurances! However, I think the way it works is to first try to convert the UBM, and if that is not an option and the UBM is outspoken, pressure the believer to save themselves and any children from "spiritual endangerment", ( ) by separation if necessary.
Hope to hear more from you, Retro

there will be more to come folks, when i'm allowed to start another topic.

Hello and welcome, trthskr!
The first seven-headed beast represents the governments/empires of the world but JW's all reside within them don't they?
Oh yes, and JWs use their hospitals, transport systems, welfare provisions etc. . .
Some people don't like certain places or buildings but are required to go there to obtain information or whatever reason
Not liking a location is entirely different from trusting a religion that forbids going to those locations.
Everything isn't black and white in the world
Now that is true, for us worldlies. But for JWs, everything is black or white, forbidden or permitted. But this shows a lack of principle (aka hypocrisy) because Brooklyn failed to follow the rules it made for everyone else.
Hope that has clarified it for you.

Retro ( who had too much xmas dinner )
what saying made it all around the country?.
the ones that were passed around, word of mouth.. for example.
"donations basis proves jehovah is behind the work!".
. . . I realised my life was out of control and prayed " God and Jesus, if you can hear me, help me!" No answer. Disheartened, I rose from my knees. Just then the doorbell rang . . ."

crisis of conscience within the traralgon congregation of jehovahs witnesses?
part 2december 18, 2011 by sitepost .
Another approach - here in Victoria, could we encourage householders to ask jws at the door if they could show their "Working with Children" cards? At the very least it would put a hole in that polite but superior sales image
my adorable little son is very excited about christmas.
i have not made a big thing about it, but he must have picked up the christmas spirit from what he is seeing in the shops and on tv.
he loves the music, and movies and all the decorations.
JWfacts,
My daughter is a realist; at 3 she even doubted when we explained that Santa would come down the chimney and leave gifts. But she still tiptoed out to check that Christmas morning, and one of our happiest memories is how she rushed back in to wake us, full of excitement to share.
20+ years later the kids and I still share Christmas with all the trimmings. Christmas is a special family time and chilren like your son make it magical.
Enjoy!
