  Wanna See Some Pics?

  well, we got a new digital camera and took it on our little jaunt to orlando, so i thought i'd share a few with you.. we went to this dinner theater where they dress up as knights and do the whole jousting and sword fighting thing.

  since we had two teenage boys with us...it was their idea of a fun evening.

  here's one of me and dana(she's the younger looking one) .

  Those pics do not do justice to Dana's great looks!!! She is far better looking than any film could capture!

  Arrested for going kingdumb and dumber hall!

  arrested for going kingdumb hall!.

  last night (3/21) the mountain view (ca) police arrested me.. this happened as i was attending the sunnyvale congregation service meeting.. i was dfd last july and was told by the elders the conditions for reinstatement were meeting attendance, repentance along with not speaking to anyone or anyone speaking to me (shunning at its finest).

  (btw, i was dfd for apostasy).

  I think the police got you to sign a complaint against the elder, which they then followed up with a charge. A citizen's arrest technically only applies so far as you detained the person and turned him over to the police for proper handling. Making a private complaint is much more common. The Police obviously felt enough evidence was there to warrant their following through with a charge.

  I think the best thing you should do is to get in contact with the Proscuting attorney for your case and ask what he requires from you (being the cooperative person you are!!!) and ask him to explain next steps for you.

  These PA's are really overworked, so I believe s/he would appreciate you being pro-active in approaching them.

  How long have we waited? DATELINE

  we have been hearing about dateline nbc since, what, last july?.

  anyone have any clue how long it's been?

  i mean, after a while, it seems pointless.. is dateline backing out?

  I am left wondering who the hell do you think you are badgering people and now their spouses for information that they obviously don't want you to know.

  I have no information about BERRY either. You harassing people certainly isn't going to make someone put you on the top of their list of mailing recipients when information does become available.

  If you are that interested you can always look it up yourself. But I guess harassing Shiela and Bill is far easier and less work.

  Torquay and Exeter? I knew a couple of families from that area. One gal from Exeter married a Canadian Bethelite..Sarah Jane Dray .... she moved over here back around 94/95. Her best friend Sarah and her sister Jasmine Cook (if I remember correctly). Nice gals...they even asked me to "knock them up one morning" I was disappointed to find out what that actually meant. LOL

  There was also a family in Torquay, he was British, his wife Canadian, Hayden has two boys.. probably lin their late teens now. arrrgh the names are not coming... Does any of this or these folks ring a bell with you?

  just when you think your immune to the pain from family members shunning you get a surprise.

  my sister hasn't talked or communicated with us for nearly 2 years.

  in november my mom bought her granddaughter ashley a beautiful doll.

  Itis a real shame that your sister cannot take it as it is. A grandparent's natural love for their grandchild.

  Why do witnesses have to make evreything into a religious issue.

  I am so sorry for your parent's hurt and for your getting re-hurt all over.

  There is a new program up here for older folks kinda like big brother or big sister organizations but it let's kids 'adopt a grandparent'. I am not sure if something like tha texists down your way but if so, it could be a nice outlet for some of the love that your parent's obviously have.

  Hoping all else is going well for you.

  I would like to stop this potential flame from ever growing.

  I posted this quote earlier today in response to what I saw as an attack on Simon. Based on my own experience running a board I felt I had to stand up for Simon.

  The author of the post you quoted while at H20 was known as a kind charitable good hearted person online and in real life and that was reflected in the tone and content of her posts. During that time I personally used her as an example to JW's "this Catholic demonstrates what true Christianity is all about and JW's would do well to imitate her more"

  To my knowledge she is still a charitable good hearted person in her real life that still goes out of her way to help people. Her religious belief had nothing to do with it. It is simply who she is.

  However, I would be less than truthful to say that I like her current online personna, which is why I wanted to point out her own words to her. I just find it hard to believe that the Julie I knew 4 years ago would be so jaded as to use people (albeit faceless online people) simply to cruelly vent her emotional distress as the above quote inferred. I sincerely doubt she would ever just yell at a neighbour just to make herself feel better and was thus shocked when I read her words. But far it was the only explanation for why she became so abrasive to people online.

  I know not why her posting style has changed so dramatically but I saw the same thing happen with other H20 participants. I just don't see the need for cruelty and attacks on faceless online persons even when one would never dream of doing such things in real life. I don't care who is doing it or how much they may have asked for it.

  I ask that people not feed the flames of this particular issue. I don't know why the author of this thread posted this perhaps just to help vent her feelings. {{{shrug}}} But then it would be hypocritical to condemn (as it seems was the intent) Julie for posting this at Kent's Forum

  However I really don't want to see her (Julie) trashed any further. It rarely serves any purpose to attack another person virtually or in RL.

  I think her suggestion of using "hand written blatherings never to be viewed by another human" when one is angry is far better then actually posting these same rantings.
