Not only is Bill a stand up kind of guy he is also very intelligent, has considerable leadership skills and, most of all, he has a clear goal in mind, changing the policy of the wts to protect the children. If they would listen he is doing this for their own good, but listening doesn't seem to be their strong point.

Why ex-JW's remind me of Arizona Toads
by Mindchild inthere is something in the deserts near my old home in tucson, arizona that makes me think about the past, present, and future of ex-jws; it is the spadefoot toad.
the arizona spadefoot toad is a miracle in biological adaptation and survival.
to live in this hot dry desert, the toad needs water, without which its cells would soon die.

The Arizona spadefoot toad is a miracle in biological adaptation and survival.
The toad has adapted to its surroundings and so have those of us who are no longer associated with the WTS. The fact that so many of us have so adapted and thrived since leaving must be a source of consternation to the GB, as this was supposed to have the opposite effect. I would never go back to any Kingdom Hall because in doing so I would be compelled to give up many wonderful friends, Cowboy, Valis, Jesika, Vinice, Diana F., Megadude, Billygoat, eyegirl, lyineyes, Wild Turkey and many others. That is not an option.

Amanda,
You have been sorely missed and it is good to have you back. However, I really don't think you have anything to apologize for, as this forum is, or has been used by us all to prop ourselves up when that type of support was needed. Stick around and if you need moral support you know where to go.

All the information you gave them and these clowns were worried about the last line of your letter? What a bunch of programed nitwits!! It is very evident these "brothers" are not the least bit worried about the children who have been harmed by the WTS policy. I'm not sure I have the stomach to take much more of this.
JT, you missed the whole point. There are people out there hurting because of these short sighted policys. How much do you care about those who have suffered because of uncaring men such as the ones the Bowens had to face ?

Those of you who couldn't make it to Valis home Saturday night missed the bash of a life time. Everyone was happy and having a good time. We also had two special guests, eyegirl and Venice who were just great. Animal, next time tell your boss you have more important things to do.

TO JESIKA
by Swan ini wanted to express to you how i felt at the vicious conduct of fred hell towards you earlier today, but i did not want to post it to his thread.
as a general rule i avoid posting to troll threads; it only helps them to get their rocks off.. i just wanted you to know how much i admire you and admired the way you stood up to him today.
insensitive people like that do not think about anyone else, only themselves.

I met Jesika in Dallas Saturday night and found her to be one of the nicest, friendliest, most polite, and kind young ladies I've ever met in my life. Thanks to Simon we won't have to worry about that low life that attacked her for a while. Jesika, you know you have many friends in this world and you know how to reach most of us. Call on me anytime. Bill

Welcome browneyes. The last time I had breakup was 40 years ago so probably can't give you much help, except the pain will go away sooner than you think. I have brown eyes also, but I'm no girl. Hang in there.
