  everyone round here is living in fear... ill never trust squirrels again.. knutsford, england, resident blanche kellye, on a squirrel that has attacked several city residents.

  the above quote is from this week's newsweek.

  how come they don't just make a nice rice pilauf from that squirrel?.

  i'm thinking about taking a break from this place for awhile.. one of the reasons i came here was because of the way jws have been so mean to me.

  i don't like to see people be mean to each other.. lately i have been seeing people i care about being very mean to each other and me.

  i just can't handle that.. please don't be mean.

  Tornado hit my brothers home

  my brother and his family are just thankful to be alive!

  sunday night with tornado warnings out through the state of tn.

  about 7:30 that night, my brother went out on the porch to look at the lightning.

  Those of us living in the Texas Panhandle are well aware of the destruction and tornado can cause. In 1995 one came thru our neighborhood about a block from us. The storm produced a noise we will never forget, even though we were in a storm cellar. The freight train description everyone comes up with is an accurate one. Fortunately, it wasen't close enough to cause ear popping from the pressure changes these storms cause.

  I am happy to hear your brother is ok, Tink. Houses can be replaced, loved ones cannot.

  i have been very busy translating the dead sea scrolls and finding out how to explain to everyone what is the meaning of life, so i feel a need to take a break from my ponderous works to ask all of you a pregnant question, to wit, what is your favorite dish that is mainly comprised of hamburger, or contains hamburger as a major ingredient?

  i do request that you only provide one, and only one selection.

  SUICIDE. Thinking About It? Read This First...

  are you someone who feels really depressed right now?

  many in my congregation are suffering from chronic depression including several elders who have families.

  i'm thankful that every time the thought of suicide entered my mind, triggered by various occasions over the last 25 years, i found the strength to push these thoughts aside.

  Thanks for submitting this Derrick. We had a sucide in the family, my brothers son, and it devasted all of us. Wish we had this information at the time, but perhaps we can use this to help others who may be going down that path.
