I have been very busy translating the Dead Sea Scrolls and finding out how to explain to everyone what is the meaning of life, so I feel a need to take a break from my ponderous works to ask all of you a pregnant question, to wit, what is your favorite dish that is mainly comprised of hamburger, or contains hamburger as a major ingredient? I do request that you only provide one, and only one selection. (Those who disobey this rule will be disfellowshipped and will not get a Christmas present from me this year, even if I promised you one.) You are permitted to post later with other choices so that this thread will stay up top for several days....... Well after much thought, my first choice is meat loaf. I like it hot with gravy accompanied with mashed potatoes and a vegetable, preferabley corn or green beans. I also like it cold, in a sandwich, either on a bun with Chili Sauce or with mayonaise and dill pickle. So, is your choice the same as mine or do you, in fact, have a very different hamburger favorite? (Fluff is good for the soul.) (Don't ask me to define 'fluff' or 'soul')

    hi larc

My family loves when I make my special sweet and sour meatballs. The sauce is a blend of tomato juice, mustard, brown sugar and Worchestershire sauce. It's our favorite meal.

    Love, Scully

A hamburger with fried egg, bacon, grilled onion, beets, tomato, lettuce, and melted cheese...a real artery bomb....
