Not sure what prompted this post, but add my name to list of apostotates that wish to nag TresHappy. Really don't think you will be disappointed if you show up. Megadude is a nice guy and valis is also although the latter is about 1/2 bubble off plumb, but very intelligent and the type of fellow that goes to a lot of trouble in order to make these shindigs happen. Looking forward to meeting you Tres.

mine's gruyere, a swiss cheese that is absolutely scrummy.http://www.cheese.com/description.asp?name=gruyere.
of course, i still enjoy the noble stilton, danish blue and there ain't nothing to compare to a genuine parmesan with pasta.. but, gruyere takes some beating, i reckon.. englishman.

it was a rabbits foot on a key chain, a very well known symbol or good luck charm.
i remember the woman in the group kind of freaking out, and walking the child back to his parents and demanding that the demonized object be taken out of gods house.

Queen finally does something useful
by Angharad inin the uk there has been a big trial going on in which the former butler to diana princess of wales was charged with stealing some of her possessions after her death.
he has pleaded not guilty from the start.
this has been going on for close to 2 years, the case dramatically collapsed this morning when the queen finally decided to get off the royal butt and intervene saying that she knew he was holding some of diana's possessions.

Some seem to think the queen is a great lady, but from her actions or lack of same after Diana died I came to the coclusion she is a royal pain in the arse. From what I've read Diana was viewed as a "breeding cow" by the royals. Why do you need a queen anyway??

methadone clinic next to Toys R Us
by Princess ini was just reading an article in the seattle times about a new methadone clinic that will be set up lynnwood, washington.
lynnwood is quite literally, across the street from me and most of my shopping/errands are done there.
this is the first i have heard of it and i am surprised it hasn't been more newsworthy than an article in the wednesday edition of the seattle times.

You are correct, I was a little harsh, but there is all kinds of information out there concerning the downside of using certain drugs. Children today are taught this from the time they enter school. If they get out and, as an adult, intentionally do hard drugs they are going to receive exactly what they were warned about. Those who are addicted because of a medical problem are another matter. They deserve all the help we can give them.
You know, before I retired they had random drug testing which I hated. Peeing in a cup is not my idea of a fun time and since I've never used an illegal drug in my life I thought it was unnecessary. I swear, I sometimes think they called me more than others because they knew I would pass and they wouldn't be compelled to fire anyone.
In short my earlier post was not very well thought out. Thanks for pointing that out to me.

This is a horrible place to put a methadone clinic. It seems to me that some children may get the idea that drugs are acceptable for use. I refuse to feel sorry for anyone who gets themselves hooked on hard drugs. If you get yourself on drugs, you can get yourself off drugs. Just don't bother me.
