my son will be 9 in jan and my bf's nephew is the same age only 2 weeks later than my son's birthday.

my son (jessie) and chris (the nephew) stayed over for a couple days.

Fellows, please remember some women are capable of giving you a dose of your own medicine. Mine has in the past and on at least two occasions I had to go to my recliner for a while.

Simon, you and maximumflash both seem to have a knack for irritating your wives, so now I'm wondering which one of you is going to end up with bruises at the hand of his wife.

Songs stuck in the head

you ever get a weird song stuck in your head.

this one always comes out from time to time, and i have no clue why.

why would my witness parents play this song and allow it into the minds of their children.

You have dated yourself. That song, by Johnny Horton was popular back in the fifties. I have a cd with that song and others on it. The old stuff is best, in my opinion. Bug

Very nice Mr. & Mrs Ozzie. Here in the Texas Panhandle (US) we currently have about 6 inches of snow on the ground. I would be glad to send some of it to you for Christmas, if you will pay for the shipping.

activities range from secular scenes to doing nothing at all .

It seemed when I was a part of the org. everytime someone found something to do that brought them pleasure or happiness, the borg would become nervous about this activity, regardless of what people were doing. In the late 60's or early 70's we went to an assembly in Houston in the astrodome where one brother had put together a band, complete with bongo drums and other instruments. This was a very creative fellow and he was making those normally dull sounding Kingdom songs actually sound good. Between sessions he even sang solo using the band as his back up. Well it didn't take long for an article to come out in one of the publications condeming people who were trying to promote themselves, or words to that effect. The next assemblys had the old recorded music which was about as uplifting as a trip to the bathroom.

The point to all of this is these folks going bowling on xmas day are sure to be shot down because they are enjoying themselves and are not banging on doors.
