  We made it to Florida!!!

  well we made it to florida, but the journey was not exactly what i would call a fun one.. .

  as many of you know, my fairly new suv was totaled (by no fault of my own) one month before we were supposed to be making our big move.

  well, we were forced to buy a car with limited income until the insurance company paid up.

  While I was still working the company sent me to Orlando a couple of times for training. I couldn't believe all the things you could do there and places to eat. All it takes is money. In a way I envy you and hubby, but sure wouldn't wish to live there in the summer. Hopefully hubby will find a job soon and all will end happy. Bug

  I admit I'm also missing stinkypantz. However, she is moving across the country and by the time her and hubby get settled it may be a while before we are blessed with her intelligent posts. Too bad, this site is not the same since she left to move. Bug

  Beer - Canadian Beer

  i usually have a glass of bubbly on new year's.. and sometimes on a hot summer day i like a beer - cold and frosty.

  well it is a hot summer day and hubby brought home a new beer.

  i know a woman, late 40's, who would love to meet a single man.

  she is a disassociated woman, divorced, has a good job, great personality, very pretty, very slender, and would like to meet someone.. i am throwing this out there to see what comes in.

  but it seems to me that the jw apologists on this list rarely, if ever, contribute to a thread where a person is genuinely hurting.

  i have yet to see any loving assistance offered to anyone a wt apologist perceives as "apostate".

  i welcome correction if i'm wrong.

  After attending three apostafests, I can honestly say that the people here are just as open and kind in person as they are on the computer. After meeting such people such as Big Tex and Cruzenheart, lyineyes and wildturkey, megadude, xenawarrier, heaven, scootergirl and many others, I know these people are real and honest. If you haven't attended an apostafest, please do so, it is highly unlikely you will be disappointed.

  i was in a car acident about 9 months ago and the lawyer handling my case sent me a form today to list my friends who could state what my condition was before the accident and after.

  problem with that is i was a jw for close to 30 years and have been fading for about a year.

  i couldn't get them to do that unless i made a come back to the meetings and i am too glad to be free to ever go back.

  I've never met you in person, but I consider you a friend and will surely meet you and Thunder in the not too distant future. Don't wish to hijack this thread but I think this points out the value of aposta fests. It is sure easy to make friends at one of those shindigs. Bug
