Sparlockgate - the YouTube copyright clampdown continues!
by cedars inyou may remember some time ago i released a song entitled "sparlock we love you" on youtube.. the song was a parody of the "become jehovah's friend" dvd, and became very popular - with well over 10,000 views last time i checked.. i did consider the possibility that the society would complain on grounds of copyright infringement, because i used some specially-altered versions of images on the dvd, such as the one below.... .
however, i shrugged this off, because i thought even the society wouldn't be as petty as to publically complain about the way the images were used.. nevertheless, they did.
today i got the following email.... dear john cedars,we have disabled the following material as a result of a third-party notification from watch tower bible and tract society of pennsylvanias, claiming that this material is infringing:.

That really sucks! I love that song! So the society doesn´t even have a sense of humor huh? This kind of action by them makes me MORE pissed at them than ever before! Their fucking control manipulation is out of this world!
Try it again. But do not use the word Sparlock....Use a different spelling altogether! Sparrlock or something like that. You need to upload it again. Use a different name like Blue Harvest.

Oh gee it is me from 2 years ago... You know I REALLY hate the name Botzwana. I WISH Simon wouldn´t have banned my Bane name. Whaddya say Simon? Reinstate Bane! Then I could post so people could really see. I only chose Botzwana because all the other cool names were taken. I just looked at a map and whammo!

Lost my best friend (man's best friend)
by Coffee House Girl injust wanted to write a tribute to my best friend whom i lost last week, it was one of the most painful experiences i have ever been through.
i have no children, my puppy was my child.
i got him from a golden retriever rescue organization when he was 2. he was recovering from a car accident, still a bit skiddish, but he chose me to take him home (the foster mom said that he never responded to anyone like he did me).. he was always happy to see me, greet me with a toy in his mouth, he never judged me, never cared whether i was "bad association", he was always there when i needed to smile and remembe that i was not alone in the world.

I just WANT a dog. I have wanted one my whole life! Have always lived in apartments. I thought it cruel to have a dog in such a confined space....Not to mention having to walk it three times a day....wish I had a farm.
