Girls are unpredictable, materialist, and use us, men, as a toy.
by will-be-apostate inwell, it seems like i am going to ruin the domination of raypublishers' topic at this section of the board.
:d. now back to the topic.
the last month i was trying to get "closer" to my classmates and to the others from my highschool.

Will-be-apostate, word of advice.
Try not to let yourself fall for a girl before you ask her out.
That way, if she says "no thank you", it won't suck nearly as much.

About what one thing do you find yourself being a real SNOB?
by Terry inyou know, to fit in....to be a part of our own family or group and not be a total nerd or contrarian.. we hold our tongue.
we smile and nod.. but, then....there is at least one thing we just can't go along with because it is too important.. why?
because we are a total snob.

Three things; all related:
- widescreen over pan-and-scan.
- 1080p over standard def.
- extended over theatrical cut.

The Best Fade Ever

i will be brief.. my straw that broke the camel's back was from an arrogant asshole circuit overseer while i was a ministerial servant and pioneer.
i will save you the details.

I'd be surprised if any elder made that mistake nowadays.
Cool story, though.

St George of England - "They now use the term 'epochs' or 'thousands of years in length' when describing a creative day. However, I have never seen them actually retract the 7,000 year creative day."
You're right, they never fully have.
They don't wanna alienate the old-schoolers so they'll never fully drop it, but they use 'epochs' or 'thousands of years in length' because they don't wanna alienate younger JWs (who know better) either.
Both parties interpret it the way they favor, and the WTS gets to have its cake and eat it, too.

designs - "How does the WT Society explain that we carry 4% Neanderthal genes?"
They don't.
And they'd make sure any "Questions From Readers" wouldn't ask, either.
Back in the mid-90s, there was an Awake! article called "'Ape Men' - What Were They?"; but all the piece really did was subtly (and sometimes not so subtly) cast aspersions on the field of anthropology, and in fact, didn't even attempt to actually answer the question in the article's title. That in particular irked me and was one of my "wait a minute" moments.
Ignoring uncomfortable questions about science and history is prevelent throughout the fundamentalist world.
The WTS is no different.
