Anybody wanna hazard a guess how often tips like that get investigated (or even taken seriously, FTM)?

Or - more importantly - whether or not the Branch knows how often?

This, IMO, may be coming back to bite them on the ass in a very unexpected way, now.

We studied the Revelation Climax book so thoroughly that the sequence of events is kinda set in stone…

…and in old Freddy Franz’s End Times interpretation, “Babylon the Great” gets attacked by the “Wild Beast” first, whilst Jehovah’s Witnesses are supposedly attacked last.

Yet, it’s the Watchtower that currently seems to be under siege…

…and as much as organized religion seems to be genuinely in decline overall, “Babylon” keeps on keepin’ on.

I could be wrong.

we seem to have had an influx of religiots - the people who want to tell us all about how we / the wts / whoever are wrong, wrong, wrong about everything and how right they are.

they obviously have special insight, or voices (probably voices, right?

) telling them the real truth.. as proof, there is inevitably a wall of random scripture references and quotes.. sorry, but we're not here for that.

Fortunately for us, the WTS has already done a pretty effective job inoculating most of us against any other flavour of religious expression (credit where credit’s due).

on 10 june 2019, the finnish jw organization lodged an application against finland with the european court of human rights.

the case was quickly - by the court's standards - communicated to the finnish government on 10 december 2019. the complaint itself isn't available online but there is a brief summary (see the link above) prepared by the court:.

the application concerns the jehovah’s witnesses’ religious activities in finland and their compatibility with the data protection regulations.

I think over the years, they’d come to buy into their own hype that their past court victories were evidence of God’s favor (as opposed to careful planning by shrewd lawyers).

Believing that they’re “destined to prevail no matter what” would definitely tempt them to pick more and more fights they wouldn’t otherwise win.

In fact, I suspect the possibility of losing is almost foreign to them.
