Case in point… signing up for the redress scheme in Australia after the ARC.
The WTS dragged their heels until the very, very last second, and only budged when it became apparent their Charity Status was on the chopping block (they as much as admitted it, and their public statement sounded quite sulky to me, in fact 😏).
Looking back, I think that was when we first started cluing on something that seems painfully obvious, now (and virtually every bit of evidence we've seen since confirms it, IMO)…
…that the Org’s business model is almost completely dependent on its tax-exemption.
They literally can’t afford to lose it.
