  They apparently had a thing down in Florida not too long ago where they were getting COs up to speed on updates to the Org’s eschatology (Fred Franz’s old Cold-War-centric narrative was increasingly untenable, obviously).

  Pretty sure the new-and-improved version has left plenty of wiggle room for that aspect (not to mention minimizing the UN’s role as a villain).

  a) …they’re waiting till the ratio of those who’ll leave vs. those who’ll stay (or those who’ll sue vs. those who won’t) has reached a critical point… i.e. when the blowback will be at a minimum, or…

  b) …(more pragmatically) when their tax-exemption is at risk.

  Whichever comes first.

  the governing body and watchtower publications make clear there is only one official website that jws should go to about their religion.

  they do not approve of independent pro-jw forums.

  this would also fall in line of there being no independent study groups, on the internet, or elsewhere.. for that matter, they do not approve of jws posting on behalf of their religion on social media, “apostate” websites, or anywhere else on the internet.

  on february 22, 2023, anthony morris iii was officially removed from the governing body of jehovah's witnesses.

  a few months later it was revealed that the watchtower bought him a house in lumberton, north carolina.. however, and correct me if i am wrong, since leaving the gb nobody has reported seeing tony attending jw meetings or participating in field service.

  in fact nobody has reported seeing him anywhere, not even at a local liquor store.
