thinking sometimes about my youth days and the stories my grandfather told me about our jw congregation.
do you recognize that your congregation was full of somehowe strange folks, very low educated, poor and simple?.
the po was an elder with some distance, with some personality acting intelligent and following the rules strict.. there was always a kind of scandal.

Spend decades alienating all the decent, thoughtful kids, and eventually all your gonna be left with is the problem child.

mandated shunning is on the rise around the world with devastating effects on millions of people.
shunning that is mandated by organized groups to its members is a form of both physical and psychological violence against those people being shunned and cut off from their family and life-long relationships.
mandated shunning means that the shunning is ordered from the top down.
The more the Org eases up on the rules just to keep their charity status…
…the more they undermine all the things about themselves they held up as proof they alone had The Truth.
