the first abhorrent bit of information here describes a witness man who " fought " with feelings of being homosexual and of course the elders thought they had the perfect antidote to keep him from his alleged " abnormal " desires.

It's good that you never truely believed. I did, and that is the biggest problem in dealing with guilt and fear. Even if I was never baptized.
Some how your mom must read JW facts. Maybe you could print some pages out for her. Growing up as a JW is....well. like nothing else !

part 2. so my parents married in 1980 and my older brother was born 2 years later in 1982. by this time, my grandparents had moved into the house next door to my parents.
my dad was still working for yorkshire water and was in a very well paid position by the time i was born in 1988. between these years, my mum had also had a miscarriage, though this is rarely mentioned in our house these days, but i'm sure it must still affect her.. there aren't many notable events that i can recall from before i was 4 years old, though i was later to learn that my dad was having an affair at this time.

because i know the elder whole my life, and i have respect for his age, i couldn't say no.

Yes, but the new chart would have the GB right under Jesus. With the new light they have moved up the ladder. Even on the old chart notice they are in red print along with Jah and Jesus, all the rest are in black print............how discreet of them !
