by unstopableravens ini do not wish to debate anything here like i have said in the past i have much respect for most on this forum (believers and non believers) i am simply wondering if the atheist or non god believers every worry about what if your wrong?
it seems that many who were jw for so many years attach jehovah/yahweh with the watchtower and since the wt is wrong than god does not exist.
i ask this question only because i care about people and salvation thats why i want to help as many as possable come out of this cult,and since i truly believe in god i dont know what is in the cinscience of those who dont.

knowsnothing if i told you you would have to change your name! why the only thing i can say is because god is a perfect just judge and he requires justice so jesus paying for our sins so we dont have to. as far as why does it have to be paid the way it is im not sure i dont have the understanding of why god does everything he does. so i only go off what i know from the bible.

cofty yes it was very bloody and horrible what he went through is 50-53 descibes it in a very detalied way. that still does not change the fact it is the only way for forgivness of sins,so wheter you like or love the arragment that what the cost was and he paid it.so we are talking about what christ did not why he had to do it.

cofty why is the thought of someone dying so you may live that sicking to you? me personally im thankful for christ. think of it this way pushing aside gods personality wheather you or i believe its love or evil. if we truly die beacuse of sin and the only way we can have eternal life is if christ pays for your sin than how can a person not be thankful.

hey snare i did not have anyone on this forum and it was not because something that i read here that made me think that. thats why i used the word "seems" . not knowing what was in the mind of others i just see many ex jw taking the athiest path. i think we all deal with the past we had with the watchtower trick society differently so i was just giving what i thought maybe im wrong about that(not about god lol) so i meant no harm by that .thanks for your thoughts snare.
