A sacrifice would be giving himself to death and not be resurrected ever. Instead it was to put himself in a position of power for his so called sacrifice. His supposed sacrifice let him take the throne in 1914 over us. He has a supposed second throne that he will soon take in the next couple generations.

Did Jesus sacrifice really mean anything?
by highdose insuspending for a minute the realisation that it never happened and instead looking at it as a beliver would.... jesus had to endure a painful death, yes.
but he knew that he would only be dead for three days and that afterwards he would get reserected and be able to mind f**k around with those who had put him to death.
and then he would live for ever in a brand new body!

Bizarre statement in April 2012 Awake
by dozy inas books go, it is tiny, but it is immeasurably great in its essence.
it can be carried in ones pocket, but if it were found in a library of 90,000 different books, it would probably turn out to be the most important one of them all.. wow a strong endorsement of the bible?
er no this is the wtbts we are talking about here.

Slimboyfat is prolly right. Even more right that they probably made it up. If they use a author from said Germany then people more inclined to look up. Since they use a junk country like mexico nobody really cares what people say from that country anyway.

I can't believe this
by truthseeker1969 inyou all know i was in the uk settling estate issues and that the elders 'wanted to chat with me".. well i left before they could have the meeting i arranged on my "free day".. they turned up at my mothers home and were livid that i had gone, but here is the kicker.. brother heavenly described me as a potential apostate for what i had done, which sent my brother over the edge and he demanded a retraction and apology which they quickly gave him.
he intends to speak with the co when he comes on the matter.. it gets better, elder ballbag actually said "apostates do more good for the congregation than they think.
they pull those who should not be part of the org and clean the congregation" .

An elder making a statement on how apostates do more good for the congregation is a contradition when compared with what the watchtower says. In fact he is causing a division and can and should be labeled a apostate for his own independent thinking. I remember reading something in watchtower along lines that nothing good comes from apostates

I believe God
by N.drew insomeone said atheists are a minority.
i think that is incorrect.
salvation belongs to yhwh.

With that kind of reasoning there are alot of atheists. In FACT, everyone on this planet is an atheist when compared to someone of a different religion. If you dont believe in my god and you believe in another then your automatically an atheist because you dont believe in God. When you reverse it and I dont believe in your true god, I'm atheist. So in fact everyone is atheist. Although I could be wrong, lol

Which generation do you belong to ?
by edmond dantes inask a witness which generation do you belong to and see if they really know how to answer.. i have decided that every time i hear a true definition of the meaning of a generation i will post it here just to reinforce the true meaning just in case a stray jw happens to look in on here.. yesterday evening i was watching an antiques programme on the television and under discussion was a very well made baby high chair from about the nineteen thirties and the approximate date of manufacture and the length of time it had been in the family.
the expert then went on to confim how old it was and in doing so said that considering who first purchased the chair and the length of a generation that it was from the thirties and went on to say that we consider a generation to be about 25 years.. that is a truer definition of a generation than a watchtower definition.. .
