  Praying in the name of Michael the archangel instead of Jesus

  just wondering what would happen if a brother saying a prayer in a meeting did it in the name of michael the archangel instead of closing the prayer with "jesus christ".

  since jw's believe michael is jesus would he be counseled?

  what if a brother used the name michael the archangel in their public talks instead of jesus?

  Just wondering what would happen if a brother saying a prayer in a meeting did it in the name of Michael the Archangel instead of closing the prayer with "Jesus Christ". Since JW's believe Michael is Jesus would he be counseled?

  What if a brother used the name Michael the archangel in their public talks instead of Jesus? Imagine hearing "Michael the archangel, the son of God died for our sins" or Michael the archangel started reigning in 1914.

  No doubt he would be talked to but by teaching that Jesus is Michael the archangel, the JW's really cannot technically do anything about it. The brother using this new expression can just say " Michael the archangel and Jesus Christ are the same person so I prefer to use Michael the Archangel unless you feel Jesus Christ role is greater than his role as the Archangel although being the same person which could lead to the question of Jesus being the same person as God but the role of father is greater than the role of son".

  The teaching regarding Michael being Jesus is ridiculous and it would be exposed as such by using Michael's name instead of Jesus in prayers, talks, normal conversation.

  That paragraph alone destroys WT credibility and exposes it as man made religion with personal ideas. I believe that's the most damaging paragraph in all the 150 yrs of b.s. they've been producing.

  Someone should document and count all the policy letters, guidelines, rules, elder book, organized book, branch organization manual, c.o. manual, kingdom ministry, correspondence guidelines and compare them with the scribes and pharisees Talmud. Im pretty damn sure the Governing Body has more rules and burdens than the Pharisees.

  I wonder what Jesus thinks....oh wait....read Matthew chapter 23.

  How the Governing Body breaks people

  we all have likely heard the expression "to break a person" and usually it's in relation to kidnappers, bullies, pimps, human traffickers and cult leaders.. when a person is broken, their spirit, goals, aspirations, pursuits, self esteem, critical thinking and dreams are taken away.

  what fills that vacuum is despair, depression, low self esteem, lack of self confidence and individuality.

  the victim now believes that they are not worthy of enjoying life and following their dreams and personal satisfaction through personal achievements.

The victim now believes that he must conform to what others " superior" to him say you must be as a person. Guilt, insecurity and belittling are constantly used to break the person and keep them in that state. This is accomplished through the meetings, publications, conventions and now jw broadcasting.

  The Governing Body has been breaking people's spirits to live and enjoy life by pursuing happiness through their constant belittling and telling their members they are not worthy of happiness without obeying them and conforming your life to revolve around their endless activities such as meetings, field service, building projects, conventions, giving donations etc etc. Members are made to feel inferior and unworthy of God's love if they do not agree with their teachings and policies. Having thinking abilities, personal ideas and pursuits that do not promote the exaltation of the cult leaders is strongly condemned and the self confidence and enjoyment of life is robbed from you. Many cave in to this abuse and give up on life and live the rest of their lives like mindless, heartless, broken brainwashed zombies that have even surrendered their right to think for themselves. These have accepted the Governing Body's imposed edict that being successful, happy, having personal achievements, higher education, pursuing what makes you happy in life is NOT your right but instead to live every second promoting the exaltation of the cult and nothing else.

  The Governing Body has broken the spirits of millions and have a toxic influence in humankind by robbing millions of their right to happiness and personal pursuits. The Governing Body's effect on the human spirit has been toxic and devastating.

  JW's - Do you follow pagan practices?

  w95 5/15 p. 19 part 1—flashes of light - great and small: “jehovah’s witnesses do not celebrate birthdays because these observances have pagan origins and tend to exalt the ones having a birthday.” (jw broadcasting doesn't exalt the gibbering body??????).

  in order to be “faithful in what is least” and to “stop touching the unclean thing,” j.w.

  's should abhor & shun all of the following traditions and practices due to their pagan/demonic origins - especially using the names of weekdays and several of the names of months.. “it was believed that sneezing was the way for the body to rid itself of the devil's evil influences.

  Piñatas are pagan but WT allows it if no one sees it as worshipping the devil. Same could apply to all holidays but WT still bans them.

  The WT double standards have become hilarious. I rather laugh than to get pissed off of their double standards.

  Don't forget:

  * praying before sex

  * vaccinations (reversed in 1952)

  * 30 second comments at meetings

  * blood fractions

  * not clapping when someone is restored as a JW (changed again)

  * organ transplants ( ban from 1967-1980)

  * not dating a non ministerial servant

  * no spans, no tight pants, no colored socks
