  ALL a mere process??

  phase one.

  one set of people listened to a wonderful thinker and marvelled at his words and the life he led and his kindnesses.. they were moved by him.. most of the profound words he spoke were difficult and mysterious to the point of being elusive to the mind.. when this man was violently arrested, tortured, accused and executed the shock and awe was devastating.. .

  what was the reason for all this--what did he really mean to tell us?.

  Apostate: From 279 Facebook friends to 81 overnight... thanks MOM!

  the drama continues, i log on to facebook this morning and notice that i have about 20 some odd personal messages from people calling me an apostate to they will return to me when i return to jehovah.. all of this based upon my brother informing others that i have "apostate thoughts".

  my mother also encourage long-time famil friends to "unfriend" me because i have taken my stand on the side of satan... wow.

  don't you just love this international brotherhood.

  We need to make this shunning thing a major crisis for the Watchtower. If people knew that they shun family and friends like the do, they would slam the doors in their faces hard.

  We need a major campaign to educate the public about this religion that looks innocent on the surface but is evil to the core upon close inspection. I for my part am going to launch a flyer campaign in my area, anonomously, of course. I have had it with the shunning.

  Mic issues

  so on friday all day, the mic guy did a bang up job.....until david splane got to the podium.

  it looked like he discussed how the mic should be set up for him, then finally when the mic guy was walking away david says " well im glad we got that settled".

  then today same thing, he got the mic guy to readjust the mic for him again.

  i remember lurking here years ago cause i didn't want to tell the elders on myself and have a judicial committee if i could figure a way out of it.

  desperate or stupid - you decide

  just ron has received a couple of phone calls in the last few days from the rbc brother wanting him to come roof a kingdom hall.

  now, just ron hasn't been to a meeting since december 2011, and certainly hasn't got a current volunteer form on file.

  so i ask, are they desperate or just stupid?.

  blondie posted her watchtower comments for today and her last paragraph was asking for help, suggestions.

  she is in pain from her knee injury, is on steroids and possibly going to have surgery.. she is asking if anyone here, has had the same problem, and if so, what did they do and how was the outcome?.

  Mourning a child

  i attended a funeral today for a small child, whose death was an unspeakable tragedy.

  it was my first non-jw funeral and indeed the first time i'd ever been in a church.

  i couldn't even comprehend what the parents must be going through.

  ive had many single sisters (even the hot ones that horny brothers like to circle around during intermissions at assemblies/conventions) come to me recently asking if im single, what my spiritual goals are and how high in the ranks i am.

  i just tell them that im not interested in relationships at the moment and that my focus is on other things.

  they usually get the message and leave me alone.. but i lie.. .

  Feeling numb and alone

  since some time i post here on this forum... i am always willing to help people or to express my opinion if it helps someone.... i have already posted something about myself but i haven't told much about my history.. i am married with a nice wife and i have three kids (two of my own and a stephdaughter).

  since a year i do not go to meetings and i unofficially stopped with the "truth".

  i had a meeting with some elders expressing my concerns with the teachings and with the slave.

  Please feel free to let it all out here on JWN. We are here and we know exactly what you are going through. Take as much of this good advice as you can. Prioritize the list of to do's because you cant changed your whole life overnight. Start with what's really important and the other things will follow. Best wishes to you and your family.
