  Bumpy weekend ahead

  so my sister is coming to stay this weekend.

  although i'm sure she knows i'm not going to meetings, i don't know whether she realised i will not be going to any more meetings.

  not looking forward to that time on sunday when i tell her she's going on her own.

  Yes, if you can, make a reservation somewhere cool that she will love and just act like you assume she is ditching the meeting.

  i have, for some time, related to my family the underlying reason why the governors at headquarters (pg22p10) say what they say & do what they do.

  simply put, they need to make themselves big.

  Do you detect an underlying sadness ?

  whenever i talk to jw's, and even in some of the jw official videos, i detect a definite vibe of sadness coming off these people.. i am very sensitive to "atmospheres" and to peoples emotional state, you wouldn't think so, because more often than not i do not react to what i detect, i just let people get on with it.. but i do get this feeling that they are sad, probably because very, very, very deep down they realise that it is all false, maybe ?.

  I used to sit up in the front at the Kingdom Hall and I would turn around a look at the faces of those in attenance. The sisters, in particular, had sad faces, the brothers all looked very serious. I don't think anyone is truly happy. They fake it until they make it, I guess.

  him and another brother will be in our neck of the woods tomorrow from bethel which is and hours drive away and would like to know if i could meet them downtown.

  i will be bringing with me the transcript to my jc but not the recording.

  although there's names on the papers there's no recorded voices or my signature so there's nothing they can do as far as sueing me, right?

  Dealing with JW family

  a little update on my life: a few months ago i was sure i was going to be disfellowshipped as my mum told me that my dad had reported my apostasy to the elders.

  however, nothing has come of this so far in about 2 months and i am very relieved!

  i am not sure if it was because the report to the elders was just an empty threat to scare me back in, or because they reported me to their local elders and now that i am a member of a new congregation those elders decided they couldn't be bothered to pursue me.

  Yes, I am reading Steve Hassons book also. I went about things all wrong with my daughter. Should have soft sold ttatt. I thought she would see the BS of JW's clearly if I just pointed it out to her. Instead she took a defensive stand. Still hoping for a happy ending for all of us.

  Wow, those are some good reflections on the typical goings on inside the life of a dub.

  The poor sister who got raped and murdered...what a shame. She probably trusted in Jehovah to protect her. Look what happens when one does that.

  humans, generally speaking, are immoral and corrupt.. death is not natural.

  bad news is good news.. the present life is all for naught.. i cannot trust my own judgment.. the only possible good i can do for another person is to sell them on jwism.. they're out to get me.. humanity will not survive without divine intervention..

  Yes, and if you leave the organization you will end up dying a horrible death from a STD, alcohol or drug overdose. It is scary out there in Satans world.
