You can expect the WT to use the pope's statement as a proof that other religions reject the vital truths contained in God's inspired word the bible....blah blah blah. ..

Pope Francis declares evolution and Big Bang theory are real (shows the way to JWs?)
by exWTslave inpope thus admits that every verse of the bible is not literally inspired.
it is like a story that is built to awaken the readers to some principles (not to educate the readers the historicity with all the minute details).. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/pope-francis-declares-evolution-and-big-bang-theory-are-right-and-god-isnt-a-magician-with-a-magic-wand-9822514.html.
if gb is wise enough, they can come out of the mess they have gone into, making use of this opportunity that pope has opened saying bible is not to be taken literally.

Jehovanomics RULE #3: Money Laundering Through Kingdom Hall Build-Out and Maintenance.

it's steady cash flow laundering money to maintain a kingdom hall.
donated labor from members is icing on the cake.

Brainwashed cult members would only see a way to contribute to increasing the wealth of the Master...individuals are not profiting...all the WT has has to say are that the insinuations are from evil apostates.

The assembly hall I attended cost 20K for a 2 day event and 14K for one day...quite expensive for a building we own. Of course this always include a 4 or 5K contribution to the society. So we build the hall, payed for it, maintain, pay to use it and send a gift to the society for generously providing spiritual food...

Gustv....what do you mean by our prosperity? The WT society is surely prosperous when it manages to convince a group of hard working people to build large assembly halls for free, have them pay for the land and all materials from their hard earned money ONLY TO RENT THEM THE BUILDING AT AN EXHORBITENT COST TWICE A YEAR. Then they decide to sell the building for a profit (several Bethel buildings) only to build new ones with new money. What would you do if your bank offered to erase the morgage on your home in exchange to continuing the same payment in perpetuity and surrendering the title of your home...this is exactly what the WT has imposed to all congregations lately...and they will continue milking the gullible while they are earning hundreds of millions of dollars selling off real estate you and I paid for. Oh...don't forget to leave them something in your will...life insurances, jewelry, real estate...it's all for a good cause...material cause that is.

To me the best advantages of Cloud services are that all my digital content is backed up in on place and I can access my photos, videos and music with all of my devices - smartphone, tablet and PC. I can also allow others to access some of the content to share photos for example. My TV can also access my cloud service. On a trip I could take picture using my smartphone, load them on the cloud and at home my family can see these pictures moments later.
Cloud services can also store your android apps, contacts and calendar - creating a google account will allow you save and access all that information by simply signing in. I change phones every 3 months and use multiple tablets for work and when I get I new devices all I need is to sign in my google account and all my information is available instantly.
Some cloud services are free, while others offer a free trial period after which you will be charged according to the size of your storage space.

Put that to the test by questioning the veracity of any of the WT teachings...and see how quickly that changes.

Witness Weddings "Introducing Brother and Sister...!"
by stuckinarut2 ini can not stand it when the speaker at a witness wedding introduces the new couple as "brother and sister_____".
how messed up does that sound especially to non-witnesses??.
just another stupid witness tradition that makes the rest of the world see how crazy they are!.

In my native land women keep their maiden name and children born from the union can bare the father's or the mother's or both family names...of course JWs don't apply this in the congregation. My mom had a study who used both her maiden and husband's hyphenated names, but when she got baptized she dropped her maiden name like all other submissive JW wives.

FuGK This Religion- Stop Ruining My Life!!!
by wallievase ini am sorry for the title but today just took the cake.
after not going to the meetings since august and trying to sort through this with my family, my wife today told me she wants to separate because of our differences over being a witness or not.. this is ridiculous.
so i said- how can you separate from me when the religion you whole heartedly believe says you can only separate for 3 reasons- abuse, willful non-support, or stopping her from her meeting attendance, etc.

Sorry to hear that your wife is playing that card. When I told my wife I could not longer believe the ever changing " truth " she said she didn't want to be married to a non believer. I told her I understood her disappointment but today would be the only time I would ignore this kind of threat...if this was to reoccure she would no longer be married at all and there would be no turning back. It's been 4 years since and things have returned pretty much to normal between us as long as we keep the religion out of our marriage. Don't panic and be the best husband you can and see where this will take you.
