  "in lieu of flowers send money to the kingdom hall"..... wow.... this young woman's jw servant husband was caught cheating on her again with another jw "sister", but when she told her husband she wanted to forgive him again and continue with her marriage, he told her he didn't want that.

  he wanted her to simply move on with her life.here is how she moved on: she put on her wedding dress, got into her car in the garage and started it.

  do you think finding her this way spoke louder than any suicide note?

  I'm speechless...I almost threw my phone across the room. I wonder if they are showing these broadcasts at the meetings? If not I may start watching them with my wife to see if she finds them as batshit crazy as I do. That could be what she needs to wake up.

  1. the meeting notes (which seem to be genuine, several sources now) for the ldc roll out talk about the need for 500, yes, 500 new halls.. 2. they are not interested in what property is available, but instead what is 'optimal', and are training couples to search for 'optimal' property.. 3. if the buildings did not have a sign that said jw .org (i refuse to give them a free link) and kingdom hall of jehovah's witnesses, you could not tell it from a small bank or office building, just check the pictures.. .

  this makes me think that a) they either need to build and sell commercial property very quickly, or they just want to build and sell commercial property very quickly.. .

  think about this: to build a kingdom hall (church), you need a variance, whether commercial or residential.. i predict they will put these in primarily commercial locations, ie, 'optimal' locations.. .

  Imagine selling paid off KHalls at full market value to build new ones in prime locations with free labour and perpetual tenants...the real estate holdings substantially increase and you get the friends contributing more. That's what you call win-win fot the WT.

  Leonce Crepeau is in his late eighties which may explain why he is a little out of touch with reality.He has spent the last 60 years preaching that the end is near...this says a lot about his credibility.

  hello forum,.

  i'm new here and not sure where to post.

  so, i'm 21 years old and currently a baptized witness, however, i'm slowly making my mind up to leave and here's why.. first, there are certain things that make no sense to me in the organization.

  Welcome Garrett. You don't have to do anything. Just take the time you need to get better. I stopped attending the meetings suddenly after 50 years and I didn't get a single phone call or a visit for almost 2 years. By that time I had a clear picture of what I wanted the rest of my life to be. I also suffered from depression occasionally and since I left my outlook on life has completely changed. I hope you can experience the same as you distance yourself from the controlling cult the WT is. Telling the elders you are depressed is a great way to keep them at distance and allow you to fade.   they call it "creative time counting" (i translated that phrase from a different language so bear with me ;-).

  Sir 82...in our congregation our presence alone in the territory is a witness even if we don't speak with anyone! Angels see how we care and Jéhovah is happy especially when you are out in sub-zero weather or on rainy days...lol

  I remember how the auxiliary pioneering season was all about finding ways to get the required hours in rather than the huge witness this period of the year would accomplish. Did you get your hours in was asked more than did you have any good calls. Finding good experiences for the following service meetings parts was almost impossible...From starting your time at 6:00 am at the train station to displaying magazines on the table of the snack bar while having lunch were among the favorite creative ways to get your time in...upbuilding isn't it?

  with the bulletin of atomic scientists moving its iconic doomsday clock up 2 minutes on 23.01.2015 (which means we are just three minutes closer to midnight in comparison to 17 minutes to midnight in 1991), and rapturewatch.net/timelines.htm predicting the end of the world as early as 2017, subject of last days is getting heated up again..

  next time you have a witness boasts about the uniqueness of biblical propheciesespecially about last days, you can point the following photographic description of our times found in srimad bhagavatam, one of the ancient scriptures written even before the bible:.

  This shows that the JW's bullsxxt is not unique as there are other "inspired" writings containing predictions that can be perceived as accurate by predisposed believers - cult followers. Many of Nostradamus' predictions were accurate at some point in history...Even a shot in the dark has a chance to hit its target...the more you shoot the more chances you have.
