Personality types and religious adherence
by EdenOne ini was going through the personality types of the briggs-myers test (take the free test here) and noticed how some types are naturally inclined to follow rules and expect order, while others are inclined towards feelings and emotional appeals, other are naturally inclined to help out others ... what do you think?
are there certain basic personality types that pre-dispose the individual to adhere to a certain type of religion ?.

JWs and Gog and MaGog...What Gives?
by Cold Steel inso how does gog and magog pertain to jehovah's witnesses?
the latter-day battle is described in ezekiel 38-39, and it doesn't mention jehovah's witnesses anywhere.
the prophet does write, however: .

Now JW's must be concerned with Google and MaGoogle.

There's a first homo sapiens couple but they were born millions of years from one each other, and the "Eve" came first.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Y-chromosomal_Adam
They were not created by a god, they were a product of darwnian algorithm (hereditary, mutation and natural selection).
Evolution or nonchance retention by random mutations.
We were made from a non conscious process that can make complex things from very simple things.
But in this century the intelligence emerged from evolution will creat a new kind of intelligence, an artificial intelligence. Then we'll not be the smartest guys around. And the firsts steps have already been taken by the IBM Watson.

For the INTP ones, I'm on an INTP forum and it's very interesting to share ideas with people who have the same personality type. Here's the link:
http://intpforum.com/index.php?
I think there's a lot of type-related foruns to any MBTI type.

Why does the Watchtower material not capitalize the pronouns in reference to Jehovah
by I_love_Jeff in"koine greek was the language used by writers of the old testament greek septuagint and the greek new testament.
the original greek new testament was written in all capital letters, without spaces, punctuation, accents or diacritical marks.".

Well if they want follow the original. They could not allow a translation. Just like Qur´an you must learn the original language.
If someone really cares about what the Bible says I think not translate it's the best way to really understand the message.
Those here who speaks more than one language will understand.
To those who just speak english please just watch the movie "Lost in Translation". Every translator is a traitor, really.

I think the believe in a god it's a venial sin.
I think atheists must focus on attacking organized religion. God is a so loose concept that's impossible to direct deconstruction.
I know the god belief it's what leads people to organized religion, but organized religion it's a objectively defined concept. God is what everyone wants to be, there's no two people with the same god concept.
Focus must be organized religion. Organized religion must end.
I think that's exactly the path social evolution are taking, the nature always goes to easiest way.
The god concept outside a organized religion it's so silly it's innocuos.
So let the no religion group (atheists, agnostics, independent theists) grow up!
Let's all of us unite under the big shiny umbrella called no religion group!
