Controversial Opinion: Why the web site campaign is actually brilliant
by Apognophos inthere's a lot of talk right now about how stupid it is to have jws hand out leaflets with urls on them.
"why go to someone's door to tell them they can visit a web site that lets them ask for someone to come to their door?
" well, i'm sorry, but i have to weigh in with a contrary opinion here on how clever the society is.

I don't agree with the OP.
I think is a complete failure. And is so evident among them that until now they don't published no ONE experience about someone reaching to The Troof through the website.
They made up a lot of experiences about Andre, why not made up just ONE about the website?
Because even they know it's a complete failure.
And it's not like Youtube because people on internet likes to speak up, to interact and the JW.org is all about listen and obey. Even if they get some "guilty curiosity" about the JW's, people will search some forum to get personalized answers. Nobody online agree 100% of something why expect that with JW.org?

GREAT SONG FOR THOSE OF US STRUGGLING TO LEAVE THE JW CULT!
by ADJUSTMENTS inthis is a song by lauren hill she had family ties to the jw cult, so it is very touching and moving, she even gets choked up in the middle of the song.
i like to share this song with new ones or old ones and those who have heard it before every now and again, it so refreshing and hopefull!

Just Curious About Something
by EmptyInside insorry, couldn't think of a better title for this post, without it being long.. i was thinking this morning,if ex-jws, who were born into the group less likely to join another religion after leaving.
vs. the witnesses who belonged to a church before joining the religion.. from my own prespective, being raised a witness,i have no intention of joining any religion.
and it seems that born-ins are less likely to join a religion after leaving the cult.. in my own experience,i think it's religious burn-out to tell the truth.

Some of My Thoughts on Jung, Individuation,Wholeness, The Unconscious and Enlightenment
by frankiespeakin inas some already know or perhaps guessed i'm interested in jung's ideas on the psyche, have been since a teenager and then the jws got me at and closed my mind.
after leaving mental "the truth" in my forties, my intrest renewed very quickly, a post leolia made to me on some subject unknowingly gave me my first prod, thanks leo.. well i was exploring my mind soon as i left the jw with some lengthy excursions into being a semi hermit in order to give myself over to much inner time, it even feels a bit selfish to do now so i gave it up,, for how long?
still probing but at a reduced rate.. jung studied all the religions, and all the ancient text he could get his hands on, and his knowedge of mythology was extensive.so he also is very understanding of what is enlightenment, as he said the experiences he had with the unconscious nearly tore him apart but he manged to survive it without loosing his sanity, jung also said that he was surprised at how much of the unconscious the buddha had made conscious without going insane.

Do Jehovah's Witnesses actually HATE?
by clarity indo jehovah's witnesses actually hate?.
hatred (jwfacts).
the direction given in the watchtower goes strongly against christian examples when demanding members hate an apostate.. *.

Elders are more loyal to a rubber stamp
by Rattigan350 inisn't it amazing that the elders are more loyal to a rubber stamp on a letter from new york or whatever branch, than they are to the people they know and have known for years in their own congregation?.
when you think about that, the reason is that they get their power from that rubber stamp.
that is what appointed them, and that is what can unappoint them.

If you want to see the future, imagine a rubber stamping a human face forever.
