  Assemly food tickets - WHY??

  i was laying in bed last night thinking how lucky i am that i havent had to undergo the mental torture of attending the district convention.

  then i started reminiscing about the old days and i suddenly remembered those ridiculous tickets you had to buy to pay for food.

  they were those brown cheap cardboard type efforts with i think 10 tickets per sheet.

  Having worked in food service, and security, I was quite happy to NOT have that much cash. I mean come on, would you want to have that much cash in an open environment with no "security" around?

  Secondly, for those that worked in food service in the old days (actually cooking meals). The move to the food I can only call "rations" was a good move. I wonder what the WTS did with all that cooking equipment they bought at the time? They had a fleet of semis that traveled the U.S. full of large convection cookers.

  Lastly, the tickets were fun. I had to make $15 in tickets last 4 days.

  i don't see why we should allow such blatant discrimination on the board as to allow a thread "for women" only, asking their favorite men's cologne.

  so guys and blokes, so that we can participate, how's about declaring before these ladies your favorite cologne/after shave?

  Are the MEN apostates more imp. than the WOMEN?

  well, here are my thoughts on the subject.

  we sit here and bash the wbts for having gender separation, but what about us apostates?

  do the women apostates carry as much weight as the men, and why do you say so?

  Well, for better or us apologetics, in general, is a male dominated arena. Why this is I don't know. I know that I would love to see more women involved in this field.

  at the time i went to school jehovahs witnesses were still discouraged from higher education.

  the teachers on the primary school advised me to go follow pre-university education.

  but totally in line with the watchtower i followed

  World Cup (spoiler)

  the u.s. has beat mexico 2-0. for those of you who don't know me i used to play soccer.. i even went to the world cup.. this is the only time i went to the world cup.

  so you know, i'm the guy in the green stripes.. needless to say i've not played soccer since.. .
