okay, before you fly off the handle--i wrote a blog on how my research proves jw's are a cult (no, i haven't read the cult book yet).

somebody linked their own findings onto my site saying the opposite.

They note down things that cults do and they are the very things the WTBT$ does.

A question to the ex-JW's...

i'm curious about what made you realize that your ex-religion was not "true"?.

i've had discussions with many religious people, and they're always trying to protect their beliefs, rather than allowing anything i say challenge what they believe.

was there ever something someone said to you, or something you read that maybe made you doubt your beliefs for the first time, or had a similar effect?.

I was 'born in' the cult so for years I didn't really question it as such. I followed my parents and considered them right as kids do.

As I got older things didn't always seem right but I buried these feelings and 'put up and shut up'.

A friend had read 'Crisis of Conscience' and shared some gems with me that still didn't phase me much.

It was the 'overlapping generations' thing that finally woke me up. This doctrine was so stupid and such an obvious attempt to dodge the big 'A' coming. Now, if the big 'A' came they'd say: 'We were right!' if it didn't come they could say 'They're still overlapping, see, we're right!'

That coupled with the unChristian way Elders and many ohers behaved whilst getting greater privileges and esteem stopped me in my tracks. It was only when I ws an Elder did I really see the evil side of the WTBT$.

I couldn't understand how an infallible God could tell us Elders at a JC to 'publicly reproove' an individual then give 7 days to appeal said 'infallible' desicion! I've seen God's original infallible desicion overturned more than once. Made no sense!!!!!

Then I read 'Combatting Cult Mind Control' and it all fitted together!

of course you all know what it's like to debate the r and f. you tell them about actual logical arguments that contradict the gb, and eventually all your "discussions" descend into a sort of "la,la,la, can't hear you!

i can't let those apostate ideas touch my ears!

i was a junior borgite in 1975. i remeber looking at the calendar at work in october and thinking: 'armageddon isn't here yet.....and it doesn't feel like it will be here anytime soon either!'.

i was surprised that jehovah hadn't obeyed the superior command to bring the big 'a' as instructed to him by fred franz.

how dare god disobey the jw leader!!!!!.

this is what the guest speaker was saying at my wife's hall yesterday.

she and i was babysitting our niece and since she had three kids going to the hall with her (including my two daughters) i figured i'd go with her to help out.

they were rambuctious and wild to say the least.. while i was in the hallway with my youngest daughter, i continued to listen to the speaker talk.

True Christian thiefs?

we all know how the jw's bang on about : 'we're true christians!'.

on 2 of the occasions we invited jw's to stay at our home overnight and enjoy hospitality i had items stolen!.

We'll here is my experience.

On 2 of the occasions we invited JW's to stay at our home overnight and enjoy hospitality I had items stolen!

The first was a music collection album that my zealous SIL took home with her.

The 2nd was when I had £20.00 nicked out of my wallet by another of Mrs Punks relatives.

Both of these blaggers claim to be 'true Christians'! One a Mini-sneerial Serpant!!

Anybody else had stuff nicked by 'true Christian JW's?'

Accidentally Leaving a Flash Drive in the KH Parking Lot

i've been playing around with this strategy for awhile.

how could i crack the defenses and get a jw to read crisis of conscience, captive to a concept, etc., or just some reasoning points in general on blood, 1914, the history of the wt organization?

i want to help my brothers and sisters, i am still inside for a while longer and feel like i need to do something more tangible.. so i was thinking that if a flash drive was "accidentally" left on the ground in the parking lot.

Not being neggy, but sounds like a waste of a good memory stick.

'Spiritual Pornography' is how they'd view it. Apostate attack from Satan himself.

They'd likely wipe the files, keep the stick and it'd become an 'experience' on the prattform.

I might be wrong.......................I'm just imperfect men and make mistakes..........................
