We thus have no way of knowing the exact number of anointed ones on earth; nor do we need to know. The Governing Body does not keep a list of all partakers, for it does not maintain a global network of anointed ones.

i know cause i just had a jw tell me yesterday this was the case.

Jobots thrive on misery and the fear porn from the media.

Alice Cooper is touring the UK soon and I'm going to see him in Birmingham, so it can't be that bad.

Memorial invite

now they start inviting to their "commemorate the death of jesus" event.

it always makes me a bit sad.

i don’t think i could endure to watch it myself today.

All the favourite Elders(tm) in the clique will be on display. Sanctimonious and fake reverence will permeate the air. The favourites will be pompously 'praying(tm)' over the 'emblems(tm)' in an attention seeking manner.

I always found the 'memorial(tm)' very austere and beyond a tedious waste of time.

A lot of the ones that don't go to meetings(tm) will suddenly appear.

They'll probably claim this 'might' be the last 'memorial(TM)' before 'armageddon(TM).

Think of all the hours wasted attending that useless ceremony. That's hours we'll never get back.

R und R Ever since I discovered this forum I read the Bible more than when I was a Jehovah's Witness. You begin to understand what a silly book the Bible is.

i'm joão, from portugal.. i was a jw for about 30 years but i've stopped associating with them for about two years now.

and, lately, i've decided to dig deep and research about this cult!

Welcome J-man.

Now the problem is that my wife, who "took me into the cult", is still completely under their control, as well as our younger daughter. I'm not forcing anything or being hard on anyone, but I've been telling them about my findings.

That's the reason my wife left. She was brainwashed through and through, so much so she chose the clult over me. Now she's married to another bloke who is a fully brainwashed Jobot.

Just be careful. The cult deviously programs their minds against people like us.

This is so true.....AND, I'd add most need to find a side or tribe to belong to, like BLM, Antifa, believing those rona lies from thee media, Rona mask wearing sanctimonists and Religions.

What give that fraction of humans the ability to see through all this and live in reality??????

Well, it isn't Watchtower University, I'll be bound.

I'm not sure if seeing thru the BS is a blessing or a curse.
